Young And The Restless News Round-Up For The Week (September 19, 2022)

There’s nothing Young and the Restless (Y&R) fans love to do more than speculate on storylines! Will Shadam cross a line? Will Chelsea ever get better? Will anything ever happen between Amanda and Devon? Will Faith turn away from drinking and Jordan? As such, below are some Y&R plotline predictions for the winter of 2021:

12. Shadam Have A One-Night Stand

Sharon and Adam are bound to cross a line in the coming months. Their attraction for each other is too strong. They’ll think they are being sneaky about it; however, Chelsea will catch them in the act, or hear them. Sharon will immediately believe what she’s done is a massive mistake and try and hide it from Rey. Sadly, Chelsea won’t be able to out them and her recovery will be compromised.

11. Sharon Ends Up Expecting

Rey recently told Chance that he and Sharon have no plans to have a little one. When Sharon ends up expecting, after her one-nighter with Adam, it’ll be something unexpected that Rey welcomes with open arms. The sad part is that he won’t know that Adam could be a potential father to the baby.

10. Chelsea’s Condition

Chelsea will go on like she has been for months into the winter of 2021. She’ll know about Shadam’s affair and stew on it. She’ll try with all her might to recover, and she may make some breakthroughs. There’s also a possibility that she may even decide to hide her recovery efforts to throw Adam for a loop. What if Chelsea gets better in an effort to secretly leave Adam, and take Connor somewhere unknown. He’ll be thrown for a loop by it all.

9. The Faith Factor

Then, there’s the idea that Faith catches Shadam in the act, but doesn’t let them know. She’ll be very upset at her mother, and even Nikki won’t be able to help the teen turn away from drinking. Faith is slowly spiraling, and knowing that her mom crossed a line with the very man she can’t stand will thrust her, even more, to turn to the bottle and Jordan’s bad influences.

8. Victor Versus Faith

Victor will clash with his family over helping Adam, and this is a storyline Faith could also get involved in. She and Nikki will get closer, as her grandmother tries and helps her face her drinking issues. What if Faith learns about how far Victor is going to support Adam? She may feel very betrayed. This will be another reason why she could continue to spiral with her drinking.

7. Moses Helps Faith

Little brother Moses Winters is said to be returning to Genoa City, and while there aren’t any Y&R spoilers around who will play the teenager (or when he’ll arrive in town), Lily and Devon were recently chatting it up about having Neil’s youngest son to bond with and having a teen around. Could he and Faith become friends? Without knowing if Moses would be a good influence or not, it would be hard to believe that he isn’t a “good” seed, he is Neil’s son after all! Could Moses help Faith during this hard time?

6. Victoria Leaves Newman Enterprises

The embezzlement storyline could be revealed to Victor, and he could end up firing Victoria from her CEO duties at Newman. With that said, the truth around Victor lying about having proof of Billy and Amanda’s affair could also come out. There’s a good chance that Lily might find herself getting to the bottom of things, and having the courage to reveal it all to Vicky (even if it means she loses her relationship with Billy). If that’s the case, it may be the straw that breaks the camel’s back with Victoria. She could cut all her ties with Victor, including her comfy CEO job.

5. Billy’s Conflicted

If the truth comes out, would Billy be conflicted between Lily and Victoria? He may feel as if Victoria doesn’t deserve a reconciliation with him; after all, she chose to believe the Moustache over him. Plus, he’s head-over-heels for Lily at this point. With that said, his kids and the idea of creating a big happy family may have him reconsidering things. If this happens, Billy might feel torn between Lily and Victoria.

4. Chabby Looks For A Surrogate

Across town, after some efforts, Chance and Abby will conclude that Abby won’t be able to carry a baby. She’ll get a second opinion (or a few) and realize there is no point in trying to have a child on their own. They may decide to go the adoption route or go with a surrogate mother.

3. Mariah Decides To Help The Happy Couple

Mariah and Abby have gotten extremely close recently. Not only has Copeland been a friend and maid of honor, but she’ll also be someone that Abby can turn to talk or vent about things. Could Mariah decide to step forward and be the couple’s surrogate if they decide to pursue expanding their family in this fashion?

2. Sally and … Devon?

Y&R spoilers are hinting that Sally Spectra will pursue some of Genoa City’s most eligible bachelors! While Devon has a “thing” going with Amanda, there’s nothing other than friendship brewing between these two at this point. Could Sally try and go after Devon? There’s no man more “eligible” in the little town than Devon and he truly has it all! Handsome, smart, nice, great personality, amazing career, not to mention those millions!

1. Devon and Elena

Then, there’s the idea that Devon’s storyline can take another turn. Y&R spoilers hint that he’ll have second thoughts around how he ended things with Elena in the coming days. Could he approach his ex on these second thoughts? What if Amanda finally gains the courage to reveal her true feelings about him, only to catch him kissing his ex during a “moment” with Elena? A simple “kiss” could end things between Nate and Elena, and squash anything with Devon and Amanda.
