What is the Locke-Ness Monster really hiding, and will Billy find out the truth? Are Nick and Phyllis cracking at the seams? How will Mariah, Devon, and Abby navigate through the next couple of weeks? Young and the Restless (Y&R) fans just love to speculate on storylines! As such, below are some Y&R plotline predictions for September 20 to October 1, 2021.

12. Who’s Been Sending All These Texts?

Y&R fans will get the answer to the above question, this week. Seems as if a lawyer named Jesse Gaines, played by Jamison Jones, is the person behind all of Ashland’s cryptic texts. He’ll also blackmail Locke this coming week. What does the attorney have on the Locke-Ness Monster and why is Ashland so desperate to keep his past in the past?

11. A Major Crime

Could Locke have committed a murder when he was younger? Is that the reason behind his name change? Maybe his parents disowned him? Did he possibly ax his mentor’s husband? Is that how he built his business and gained so much money and power? Also, fans on social media groups have been buzzing around the idea that Locke could have a biological connection to someone in Genoa City. Could he be another Abbott or possibly Chancellor?

10. Billy and Lily Find Out

Billy and Lily are about to be “stunned” over the information they uncover, in the coming days. This has to be about Ashland Locke. What will they find out? What will they do with this information? The natural thing for this duo would be to publish an article about it all. Oh, the amount of “hits” their online platform could get, would blow them out of the water! But, what if Billy and Lily decide to do something different?

9. Billy’s “Generous” Offer

Y&R spoilers hint that the Moustache will take matters into his own hands this week. Rewinding a bit, added teasers (days before Victor takes control), reveal that Billy will provide a generous offer to someone. Could Lily convince Billy to take this information to Victor, so that he can handle matters? This is Newman’s daughter. Might be the “right” thing to do.

8. ChancComm Publishes The Story

Then, there’s the idea that Billy and Lily decide to publish the story. This would make the most sense. After all, they have a business to run and money to make. Victor could see the article and decide to take matters into his own hands. This would also amplify the feud between Billy and Victor. Can the Locke-Ness handle the wrath of the Moustache? Only time will tell.

7. Ashland Is Backed Into A Corner

Y&R spoilers for the week of September 27th reveal that Victoria will back Ashland into a corner. If the truth is revealed and it doesn’t coincide with Locke’s “explanation” this could be the straw that breaks the camel’s back for Vic, their wedding, and relationship. There’s a good chance that Victoria placed some sort of stipulation in the merger contract that would give her the upper hand on Locke, should things turn south. Vic’s in love, but business is business. Plus, she’s not stupid. She’s Victor Newman’s daughter, and she knows to always protect herself, first.

6. Mariah Wants A Baby

Mariah will miss Dominic this week. Despite cutting ties with the infant and Abby last week, she’ll likely dream of the little boy and he’ll preoccupy her thoughts. She may even have nightmares about him getting kidnapped. A Y&R weekly preview suggests that Mariah will bring up the idea of having a baby to Tessa. Porter will be taken back by the idea, but will she be on board at some point in the next couple of weeks? Can Mariah convince her that they are both ready to be parents?

5. Demanda Move In Together

Over with Devon and Amanda, a weekly Y&R preview video also shows Hamilton asking Amanda to move in with him. These two will likely take this giant leap; however, is this the beginning of the end for the pair? They make a great couple, but there is something brewing between him and Abby, too.

4. Amanda Will Be Preoccupied

Things are about to ramp up for Amanda, come the week of September 27th. Y&R spoilers indicate that Sinclair will “stand her ground” and make a “bold” move. This sounds like it could have to do with her grandfather’s case and father’s passing. Could Amanda get so wrapped up in her family drama that she loses sight of Devon?

3. Phick Splits

Speaking of breaking up, will Phyllis and Nick split this week? Nick’s been re-thinking their romance, and Jack did reveal he’s still in love with Red, recently. Things will hit a fever pitch in the coming days. A Y&R weekly preview shows Nick losing his mind on Jack, with Phyllis in the background. Plus, the two will “analyze” their relationship in the coming days. Is this the end of Nick and Phyllis as fans know it (for now, anyway)?

2. Opens A Door For Phack

Nick and Phyllis splitting up would open a door for Jack and his Red to reunite. Fans know that despite Phyllis consistently breaking Abbott’s heart over the years, he can’t shake his love for her. If Phick breaks up, this will certainly open a door for Phack to come together. It wouldn’t happen “right away”, but it would happen sometime soon.

1. Sally Has Her Eye On The Prize

Spectra scored major points last week with Adam for not only finding Connor but getting buddy-buddy with the young boy. Sally likes Adam, and Adam likes Sally. She’s no Sharon, but he is certainly attracted to the redhead. With Connor disapproving of his friendship with Mrs. Rosales, but liking Spectra, this could influence who Adam spends more time with. Sally will keep her eye on the prize and continue to zero in on Mr. Newman.
