Young And The Restless News Round-Up For The Week (September 19, 2022)

Will Adam get away with what he’s up to? Will Chelsea ever be found? What kind of drama can Phyllis find now that she’s come to an agreement with Vicky? Young and the Restless (Y&R) fans just love to try and speculate about storylines! As such, below are some Y&R plotline predictions for the week of November 9 to November 20, 2020.

12. A Shot Hits A Target

Y&R previews hint a shooting will occur and it seems it’ll be either Chance or Adam that gets shot. There’s a good chance that it is Chancellor. With Adam trying to cover things up this week, Chance could be the one that gets hit in the end. In fact, it seems as if Chancellor will be. Plus, he might land unconscious in the hospital. So he won’t be able to relay his side of the story.

11. Abby Reels

What are some other potential hints that Chance is the one who is shot? Well, Y&R spoilers indicate that Abby’s world is flipped upside this week. If she finds out her love has been hurt, she may not be able to cope. Especially if he winds up in the hospital with a coma or another medical condition.

10. Where’s Chelsea?

There’s a good chance fans will be left wondering Chelsea’s whereabouts this week. After all, Chance was the one hot on the trail and if he’s down and out, there may be zero hope for Lawson. Y&R spoilers for the next week don’t mention her at all, so there’s a good chance with everything else going on, fans won’t get to see her at all. This will make for a great “question mark” around what’s next for this character.

9. Paul Inches Closer

Paul will be hot on a case. If someone gets shot, Paul will be eager to find out who is behind it, and what it is all about. Especially if this has to do with one of his officers. Y&R spoilers tease some disturbing news that Williams will bring forth to Victor in the coming days. He’ll uncover a “revenge” plan, and if he brings to the Moustache, this could mean that Paul found evidence around the Newman Towers plot, without being able to link who’s behind it.

8. Uncovering The Truth

Paul will also get that much closer to finding a “suspect” in a “who dun it?” mystery that’s about to unfold. This probably has to do with the shooting. If that’s the case, it seems even clearer that Chance has been the one placed in the crossfire of all this, as Y&R spoilers indicate that Rey will be following leads this week. Could Adam have hired someone to shoot Chance before he learned too much?

7. Billy Is Ready, Lily Tries To Stop Him In His Tracks

Y&R spoilers state that Billy will be ready to play underhanded to gain access to a story. With all that is going on with Adam and the Newmans, this possible “story” might be about them. Lily will try and hold him back, but she couldn’t stop him the last time around so, likely, she won’t be able to stop him this time.

Nate will struggle with the repercussions of his actions in the coming weeks. While what he did was wrong, he shouldn’t have to suffer this much.

4. Elena’s Confession

Elena is set to confess something, and since her “affair” is out of the bag, she’ll likely turn to a friend and admit she has feelings for Nate. Perhaps she has a girl chat about it with new BFF, Lola. Elena feels guilty about what she’s done to Devon, but if she does have feelings for Nate, she should move forward with them. She likely won’t. She’ll continue to struggle with them over the next couple of weeks until a major situation forces her to reveal the truth.

3. Devon and Amanda

They’ll get a little closer but won’t cross a line in the coming weeks. There’s an attraction there, one that they both feel, but they are afraid to dive into. After all, Amanda is Hilary’s sister, which means not only would they feel as if it were inappropriate, but Amanda could wonder if their “spark” has more to do with the way she looks than who she is.

Speaking of, Lauren is set to take Jack on this week, and make a “power move” the next. Does Sally convince Lauren to try and break-free from Jabot? Is there a way Fenmore can swing this? Lauren’s a smart woman, not easily manipulated, so even if it’s Sally’s idea, it would have to be a pliable one for Lauren to move forward. Seems as if Lauren could be ready to branch out of Jabot, but can she find the funds to do so? Is there a loophole in her contract? Is this where Brittany Hodges steps in?
