12. Victor’s Prodigal Daughter Returns

When Victor finds out what his daughter has done, he’ll beam with pride. There’s always a chance that he knew about it all along, but even if he didn’t, he won’t be upset at her actions one bit. She’ll score additional points in his book for her commitment to nailing Ashland, and she’ll be welcomed back into the Newman fold with open arms. By everyone … but Adam.

11. Goodbye Adam …

In fact, Victor will boot Adam from Newman’s CEO spot without batting an eyelash and re-instate Victoria. It’s a shame that the Moustache is turning on his son, especially since Adam has been so committed to the family as of late. It’s interesting that Nick, Vicky, and sometimes Nikki harp on how terrible Adam once was, instead of focusing on how far he’s come.

10. … Hello Dark Adam

Adam will turn back to his dark side. Who could blame him? This last situation with his family will be the straw that breaks the camel’s back. Adam has tried so hard to earn back the trust of the Newmans, all while trying to earn his father’s respect, and it’s gotten him nowhere. He worked overtime to keep Billy out of Ashland and Vic’s wedding. He even paid off Locke to run him out of town. In fact, he donated a kidney to Faith to save her life for goodness’ sake! This should have earned him more than being a pawn in Victor and Vic’s game. He’ll realize it’s time to revert to his dark side again.

9. Sally Is Turned Off

Y&R spoilers note that Sally will question her future with Adam this week. If she sees the darker side of Adam, this could be a major turn-off. She’s all about strategizing in the business world, but if Adam sets his sights on “ruining” his family, she may rethink her relationship with him. Sally might be a bit of a schemer, but she’s not into outright hurting anyone.

8. Is Ashland Leaving Genoa City?

Now that he has no company, no money, and no love life, will Ashland look for the closest rock and hide under it? Will he leave Genoa City? Sounds like the rational choice, but with Adam possibly turning to his dark side, there’s a good chance an interesting alliance could form between these two men in the weeks ahead.

7. Newman Media Buys Marchetti

In this crazy world of soaps, anything can happen. While Jabot owns Marchetti now, what if Newman Media decides to buy it? Chloe is set to step into Newman Media’s COO spot, while Chelsea is going to start designing a line under Marchetti. Tensions have risen between these two BFFs, and it seems as if they are cutting ties with each other; however, what if the world of business brings them back into each other’s orbits?

6. Chelsea Now Works Under Chloe?

It would seem as if Chelsea would be working independently at Marchetti, and working under Summer Newman, but again – in the land of soaps – things that don’t make sense can often come to fruition. What if Newman Media does purchase Marchetti, and then Chelsea has to work under Chloe?

5. Nick’s Given An Invitation

Nick will be given an invitation of sorts very soon. With the likelihood of Victoria stepping back into the CEO spot at Newman, and Adam probably bidding the company adieu for good, could sissy look to her younger brother for help? Nick will turn to both Sharon and Nikki for advice in the days ahead, and he has been contemplating a jump back into his father’s company.

4. Tessa’s News Continues To Be Dire

Tessa’s career will suffer a setback this week, and there’s a good chance treatment could be “iffy” when it comes to her condition affecting her vocal cords. This will be a major blow to Porter, who will likely be very upset by the news. She’ll feel lost and wonder where her life is heading. Mariah will offer all the support she can, but Tessa will struggle with what to do next.

3. Summer Helps, Summer Fails

Over to Summer, a plan to help her mom will backfire this week, and one can’t help but wonder if Phyllis’s daughter will try to convince Jack to give her mother another chance. Abbott will stand his ground, and he may even accuse Red of further trying to manipulate the situation, even though she won’t have any idea about what her daughter was up to. It’ll make Phyllis look bad, and Diane could gloat in the aftermath.

2. Phyllis Wallows In Self-Pity

Meanwhile, Phyllis will contemplate regrets in the days ahead. Sounds like she’ll continue to wallow in self-pity around “how it all went from being so great, to so bad”. She has no one to blame but herself; however, with that said, she’s always been her own worst enemy. Before she rises again to her good old scheming self, Phyllis will have some weeks ahead of “down time”.

1. Imani Sets A Trap

Y&R spoilers for the week of July 11th hint that Imani will set a trap, and it sounds like this may have to do with breaking up Nate and Elena. Will she make Elena believe something more is going on between her and Hastings, or could she set a trap to seduce Nate? Maybe she has him believing that Elena’s cheated on him again, so she can land him in bed?
