There’s nothing Young and the Restless (Y&R) fans love to do more than speculate! As such, below are some Y&R plotline predictions for January 25 to February 5, 20201.

12. Elena Tacks Another Lie In A Relationship

Y&R spoilers for this week hint that Elena will confess how she feels about Devon and her recent “dreams” about him. Then, she’ll move in for a kiss. Seems as if Devon will not reciprocate the lip lock. Added teasers for the week of February 5th imply that Elena will struggle with keeping a secret, so it sounds as if she’ll keep the entire situation with Devon from Nate. She’s not doing too well with relationships and lies as of late.

11. Devon’s Promise

Speaking of Hamilton, he’ll make a promise to Amanda this week before things go any further in the “romance” department. What’s the promise? Amanda has no family right now, and Devon is the closest thing to any links to her twin Hilary. Could he make a vow that no matter what happens, he’ll be a friend to her when all is said and done? Even if their romance turns sour?!

10. Faith and Nikki

Last week, Sharon brought Nikki into the loop about Faith, asking for her help. Faith wasn’t too pleased with what her mom did, and it seems as if Nick will also reach out to his mom about his youngest daughter in the coming days. Y&R spoilers tease that Faith will be upset at Nick for bringing her grandmother into the loop this week, and recoil at Nikki’s attempts to help the week of February 1st. Faith may continue to struggle with alcohol and Jordan’s influence in the near future. It’ll get worse before it gets better.

9. Adam Questionable Decision

Y&R spoilers indicate that Adam will remain concerned over Chelsea’s rehab progress this week. He’ll turn to Sharon in an unorthodox move, suggesting she be Lawson’s therapist and part of her rehab team. He believes that Chelsea’s disdain for Sharon will motivate her that much more to get better. Will this be the case? While it’s not a good idea for her mental health, having Sharon around may “push” Chelsea into recovery mode a little quicker. She does seem to do things when Sharon is around.

8. Rey’s Concern

Across town, Rey will be concerned over Sharon and Adam’s bond and will suggest that his new wife cut ties with her ex. But will she? Sounds like a hard no on that one! Sharon will be drawn to Adam this week and will use “helping Chelsea” as an excuse to be around her ex. If Sharon agrees to help Chelsea, and Lawson makes progress, Sharon will counter that she can’t cut ties with Adam … just yet. Rey will bide his time, but if he does so is he jeopardizing his marriage in the process?

7. Could Vicky and Billy Be Hooked On A Feeling?

Vicky will struggle with her feelings for Billy over the next couple of weeks. In fact, the twosome is set to experience a “déjà vu” this week with their romantic relationship. Billy is smitten with Lily, but he has a history with Victoria (plus kids). The two may start to feel a connection re-emerging, but won’t act on it anytime soon.

6. Victor’s On To Them

Y&R spoilers for the week of February 1st suggest that Victor will wonder about the Villy relationship and question Vicky on it. He may even decide to “remind” her about the so-called affair that Billy-boy had with Amanda. Not a good chunk of ice for Victor to tread on at this point. The truth about Victor’s “evidence” and Amanda and Billy’s “affair” could come out, which might only bring Victoria and Billy closer.

5. Chabby’s Request

Abby is set to ask Mariah about something, which will take Copeland aback. All arrows seem to be pointing to the fact that Chabby could ask their friend to act as a surrogate mother to help them expand their family. Mariah will reach out to Tessa in the coming days after Abby makes this request, and if Porter supports the idea, there’s a good chance that Mariah would be open to the idea.

4. Mulling Over The Pros and Cons

Mariah won’t say “yes” this week, or even next. She’ll reach out to Tessa first to hear her thoughts, and when Porter is supportive, Copeland will mull over the pros and cons of the entire thing. One big “pro” is doing something incredible for a friend who would make an excellent mother. One major con is placing her life in disarray for nine months. Pregnancy is not for the weak and not an easy thing to go through … not to mention the “delivery” part of things. Mariah’s life would be flipped upside down for nine months. It’s not an easy decision.

She may point to her recent situation with Victoria as a way to get the upper hand on Sally. Red could tell her daughter to forget about digging in the past and catch Spectra in the act now. Lure her in with something, and don’t expose it. Rather, dangle it above her head. Will Summer scheme more, or let sleeping dogs lie?
