Young And The Restless News Round-Up For The Week (September 19, 2022)

This week is THE WEEK that fireworks are set to explode between Ashland and Victor! What will the Moustache’s ultimatum be? How will Victoria react to everything? But more importantly, is Michael Baldwin okay? The Young and the Restless (Y&R) fans just love speculating on storylines! As such, below are some Y&R plotline predictions for February 28th to March 11th, 2022.

12. It’s The Final Countdown!!!

Y&R fans should gear up for an explosive encounter between Ashland and Victor. This week’s preview video shows Newman revealing that he knows Locke faked his cancer. What the Moustache doesn’t realize is that the Locke-Ness Monster has been getting information from Peru all along, so he won’t be overly caught off guard. Regardless, these scenes are likely to keep viewers on the edges of their seats!

11. Victor Asks Ashland To Leave Town

The Moustache won’t want to go public. While it would destroy Locke’s reputation, it would also hurt Newman-Locke’s reputation and devastate Victoria. Victor will probably ask Ashland to leave town and disappear. He’ll give him an ultimatum: leave town, or he’ll be exposed. However, the Moustache (secretly) won’t want things to blow up. Victor will agree to handle the annulment proceedings between Locke and Victoria, if Ashland heads out of town right away. Newman may also be nice enough to give Locke some spending cash to keep him away from his daughter, Newman-Locke and Genoa City for good.

10. Locke Says No…

Locke’s about to become co-CEO of Newman-Locke, so he’ll refuse Victor’s ultimatum to leave town. Besides, while his world is crumbling and his secrets are out, Locke has known that something was coming for a while now. And he’s had long enough to organize a “plan B”. Y&R spoilers suggest that Ashland has something up his sleeve, and he’ll call Victor’s bluff. With Michael still in Peru, he may have the golden egg that could keep Victor in his place.

9. Baldwin Is Held Hostage

Y&R spoilers note that Lauren will be concerned about Michael. There’s a good chance that Ashland has some goons who are holding Baldwin hostage. Michael isn’t only a Newman employee, he’s also a beloved friend of Victor’s and the entire family. Baldwin could be Ashland’s ace in the hole. Locke may straight up tell the Moustache that if he doesn’t lay off, Michael could be gone forever.

8. Victoria Is Seemingly #TeamLocke

Having Michael held hostage could afford Ashland some time — enough time to get contracts drawn up to make him co-CEO of Newman-Locke. He could also convince Vic that her father is “full of it”, if Daddy Newman decides to go to Victoria with this news. While Vicky is suspicious of her hubby, she may remain dedicated to him, regardless of what her father says.

7. Her Dangerous Decision

Y&R spoilers imply that Victoria is set to make a dangerous decision over the next two weeks. Will Victor tell her the truth? Will Locke manipulate her to the point that she shakes off what her father says, and moves forward with Ashland becoming the company’s co-CEO? There’s a good chance this could happen, and it certainly wouldn’t be a good decision for her, her company, or her relationship with her family.

6. Phyllis And Jack Head To LA

Upon learning about Keemo, there’s a good chance that Jack will receive another text message urging him to go to LA. Maybe he’ll end up going on his own accord, for closure around his son’s passing. Phyllis will likely come for the ride and moral support. Jack will share his regrets this coming week, so he’ll likely want to see where his son spent his final days.

5. A Kiss?

Could Phyllis and Jack share a kiss while out on this adventure? They’ll definitely bond and get that much closer to a reunion. With his son’s passing, Jack will hit another major low point in his life, and Red will be there to help comfort him during this time. But a kiss won’t be the only major highlight of the trip.

4. Keemo’s Daughter Enters The Storyline

A new character is set to join Y&R in March, as actress Kelsey Wang enters the land of Genoa City as Allie. She’s likely Keemo’s daughter, which means she’s Jack’s granddaughter, and she may be the one behind all the mysterious texts. Abbott will be caught off guard when he learns he has an adult granddaughter but won’t want to waste any more time than he’s already lost.

3. Allie’s Genoa City Bound!

Allie’s character is being described as a “mysterious professional”, so there’s a good chance that Jack may encourage her to come to Genoa City for a visit (or to stay). There’s plenty of room at the Abbott mansion! If it’s only been “Keemo and Allie” for years, losing her father and only family member (or so she thought) might make her feel isolated and alone in LA. If she is a professional, Jack may also offer her a job at Jabot. From the moment she arrives, it sounds like Allie will grow roots quickly in the little town.

2. Chelsea’s Bold Move

Across town, Y&R spoilers for the week of March 7th imply that Chelsea will make a bold move. Does this have to do with business or her personal life? Fans can’t help but wonder if this “bold move” is about Rey. Will she make a move on him? Lean in for a kiss? She might ask him to meet up for coffee, which would be “bold” considering he’s married. Could she say something off-color about Sharon?

Speaking of, while Sharon offered her top list of therapists for Chance to move forward with, do any other viewers suspect that all of them will “fall through”? He’ll try a therapist in the coming days, but there might be a personality clash. Sharon will agree to step up and help Chance out, temporarily; however, these two may get a little too close for Abby’s comfort over time.
