12. Diane Will Win The Battle(s)

Diane will likely win the battle when it comes to driving a wedge between Phyllis and Jack. She’s already making Red look really bad, and Jack is losing faith in his romance with her. Is there a chance Jenkins could seduce Abbott during a weak point? No fan wants to think of this, but it is a possibility. Regardless, Jenkins will win a battle or two, but will she win the war?

11. Phyllis’s New Alliance

Y&R spoilers suggest that Nikki and Phyllis will come together to form an alliance to drive Diane out of town. With that said, if Diane finds out and tells Jack (or becomes aware of it) this will make Red look that much more terrible. This could also be a factor in Jenkins winning a battle (or two) against Phyllis when it comes Mr. Abbott. It’s great that Nikki and Phyllis are coming together, but it won’t be a good look if they get caught.

10. Who Dun It? (2.0)

Could Diane pass away in a “who dun it” fashion … again? There are many people out there that can’t stand her. The obvious ones are Phyllis, Nikki, Victor, and Summer, but she and Ashland are getting friendly. If they form an alliance of their own and Jenkins backstabs him to save herself, she may earn yet another enemy in Genoa City. If Diane is found murdered, could this launch yet another “who dun it” storyline this summer?

9. A Test For Summer & Kyle

Speaking of Diane, Y&R spoilers imply that Sklye’s marriage will be tested this summer and it’s hard not to think that Kyle’s mom won’t play a key factor in all this. Jenkins is a master manipulator and it’s clear that she doesn’t like her daughter-in-law, and the feeling is mutual. Will Diane be the downfall of Skyle?

8. What Challenges Will Teriah Face?

Y&R spoilers suggest Tessa and Mariah will face some challenges as a married couple this summer. One obvious one could be the struggle to adopt. Not only will the application process cause stress, but once (if) they are approved, the ups and downs of waiting for a child to come their way may feel like a rollercoaster ride.

7. Tessa Heads On The Road

It’s been a long while since Tessa has toured. What if this opportunity arises again this summer? The last time this happened, Mariah cheated. This could cause Porter to feel insecure about leaving. Plus, if Tessa isn’t around and Copeland is left with the bulk of the work around the adoption process, resentment could set in.

But what if they get a preteen or teen that is troubled? It’ll be a lot of work and take a toll on their relationship.
