As Young and the Restless (Y&R) fans bid adieu to September and usher in October, the drama is set to hit a fever pitch! Will Ashland and Victoria go through with their wedding? Can Mariah and Tessa get past their recent “bumps” in the road? Will Phyllis and Jack hook up? Viewers love to speculate on storylines! 12. The Wedding Is Off

The Y&R posted a mock invitation on their social media handles regarding the Victoria Newman-Ashland Locke wedding. It is a cute party invite; however, will the wedding go on as planned? It seems as if something will stop these two, so-called “lovebirds” before they say their vows. Will Ashland’s lies finally catch up with him?

What if they are on the plane and heading to Italy when Ashland snaps? His ex-wife Tara always seemed so intimated by him, even though she ended up being less-than-innocent in her ways. Could Locke’s secrets be exposed? What if she decides to stop the wedding, and he ends up taking her hostage?

9. Billy Saves The Day

What if during her kidnapping on the plane, Victoria is able to reach out to Billy? She may try her dad, mom, and Nick first. They may be preoccupied with the wedding or also on their way to Italy and unable to be reached, due to reception issues. Since Billy has been disinvited to the Locke-Newman event, what if he’s the only one back in Genoa City that can help her? What if he saves the day for Victoria?

8. Lily Isn’t Pleased

Lily will be happy that Victoria wasn’t hurt by Locke, but she may be upset that Billy turned out to be Vic’s “hero”. With Locke out of the picture, could Billy and Victoria bond over her rescue? Lily won’t be overly pleased if these two have yet another “bonding” moment together.

7. Nick and Phyllis Break Up

Nick and Phyllis’s relationship is on its last leg. Things have certainly changed tremendously since Jack revealed that he still loves her and always has. There’s no way “Phick” can last through October. Something will happen soon that sets Nick over the edge and he may end up being the one to break things off with Phyllis.

6. Phyllis Gravitates to Jack

Phyllis is already “gravitating” towards Jack. She couldn’t allow him and Sally to be together and worked hard to expose Spectra to keep them apart. Once Nick cuts the strings off their relationship, Phyllis will head straight to Jack. They may even reunite on the spot. Phyllis might realize that she’s hurt Jack over the years, yet Abbott has always accepted her for who she is. Nick, on the other hand, always wanted her to change.

5. Mariah and Tessa Can’t See Eye to Eye

3. Chance Passes Away

Chance is MIA right now. He hasn’t sent a note, message or smoke signal to indicate he knows that Dominic has arrived. Is he alive? Probably, but there’s also a chance his “remains” will soon be found, or he’ll be in an explosion in which no body is retrieved. This would keep a door open for Chance to come back, but leave Abby believing he has passed away.

2. Abby and Devon Bond

These two have already started to bond. Dominic has certainly brought Abby and Devon closer over such a short time. Abby will be frantic when she realizes Chance has passed away. She’ll be overwhelmed knowing her baby won’t have a father (or father figure) and that she’s a bonafide single mom. Devon will reassure her that Dominic has him in his life. He’ll promise to watch over the child and “do” things with him and for him, as a father would.

Amanda is quite preoccupied with her family and work right now. She’ll continue to be “busy” until mid-October. When she starts to take a breath, she may notice “something” going on between Abby and Devon. It might not be until later in the month, closer to Halloween, but she may start to get concerned. Devon’s already cheated on her once…
