Young And The Restless News Round-Up For The Week (September 19, 2022)

Will Skyle be okay once the truth about Harrison comes out? Will Victoria and Ashland get a little closer? What will Amanda find out about her bio family, as she continues to investigate her father’s passing? So many questions, so few answers! Young and the Restless (Y&R) fans love to speculate on storylines, so below are some plotline predictions for the show, come June 2021.

12. Kyle and Tara Fight Ashland

The whole reason why Tara is hiding at the Abbott mansion right now is because Ashland is on a tear to get his “son” back. The couple has split, and Locke wants sole custody. But as Kyle, Tara, and viewers know, Harrison is not Ashland’s boy. Y&R spoilers indicate that Kyle will have a difficult decision to make in early June. Could he and Tara decide to “pretend” to be together to fight off Locke’s attempts at any custody or visitations?

11. Summer Will Stand By Kyle

Locke will argue the fact that he’s the only father Harrison has ever known, therefore he deserves some time with the child. With this sort of reasoning, Kyle and Tara fighting as a united couple against any visitation from Locke could hold up in any court. Summer will stand by Kyle throughout this, even though she’ll be insecure about Tara and Kyle spending so much time together.

10. Tara and Jack

But does Summer have anything to worry about? Tara and Kyle did have a “thing” together, but with all the time she’ll be spending at the mansion, could she and Jack grow closer? Could there be romantic sparks? Tara is very mature and serious for her age and seems drawn to older men. Tara and Jack’s bonding could complicate things tremendously.

9. Ashland and Vic

Meanwhile, Victoria and Ashland will continue to grow closer this month (and next month, too). There’s no doubt that things will get intimate between these two by the time June hits. Locke is separated from his wife, plus he and Vic have a lot in common. There seems to be a ton of chemistry there.

8. Ashland and His Women

Perhaps the reason why Tara left Ashland was his womanizing ways. He’s got sparks with Victoria, and will soon be approached by Sally Spectra for an alliance. Could he and Sally move on to be “friends with benefits” as well? Then there’s the animosity between him and Phyllis. Nothing will happen anytime soon between him and Red; however, Phyllis is known to jump into the sack with men she can’t stand. It’s an odd dynamic for her.

7. Phick Is Teetering

Will the situation between Kyle and Summer be the straw that breaks the camel’s back for Phyllis and Nick? The two don’t see eye-to-eye on their daughter’s relationship decisions as of late. With Phyllis hiding things from Nick, one more secret could destroy this relationship, once and for all. Phick is teetering at this point, and perhaps it’s time they both move on.

6. Amanda’s Investigation

Amanda just found out that her bio dad was ready to look for her and Hilary before his untimely passing. She’ll continue to dig into her family’s past in June, but what will she find? Could Naya be the one behind her dad’s murder? What if it’s Imani’s dad who’s behind it all? Something feels “off” about all of this, and Sinclair is sure to get to the bottom of it.

5. Cut The Cord On Chance

Abby’s been missing Chance an awful lot, as of late. She has to feel confused and frustrated by the situation. Should Y&R pull the plug on this storyline once and for all? Things seem so “up in the air” where Chance is concerned. Perhaps Christine should arrive at the Chancellor Mansion in June, telling Abby that Chance is MIA and has likely passed away. This would open up a door for Chance to return, but also allow closure for Abby to move on.

4. Mariah Has A Scare

Mariah’s moving along nicely with her first trimester, but a lot of unexpected things can happen when you carry a baby. She won’t lose the baby, but there will certainly be a scare. Both Mariah and Abby will quickly learn just how delicate this entire process can be. A small trip or fall can be dire for the baby. Abby will be completely stressed out and might become overbearing. This could create some tension between the ladies.

3. Victor Wants Nick In The Fold

Y&R spoilers hint that someone will present Nick with an interesting business venture next month. Could this be Victor? Will the Moustache bring him into the Newman Media fold? Victor loves the fact that Adam and Nick have mended fences. But can they have a real brotherly friendship and bond? Working together might make this happen, or make things worse.

2. Faith Apologizes

Faith has nothing to apologize for when it comes to Adam and some of the outbursts she’s directed at him. After all, he’s the adult, and she was a young girl whose world was flipped upside down thanks to Billy’s article. Plus, she was being bullied. Still, Faith will approach Adam in June and not only thank him for saving her life (twice), but apologize for any time she was rude to him. She’ll ask if they can wipe the slate clean, and start a new chapter. After all, Adam is her uncle. He’ll happily accept, which will only further extend the olive branch towards Nick.

1. A Baby For Shey?

Sharon and Rey have overcome a ton of obstacles in the short time they’ve been married. Could the writers give them a break and offer them something to celebrate? From breast cancer and Adam’s interference to Faith’s accident and health issues, plus Rey’s poisoning, this couple deserves something beautiful to come from their love. Could June be the month that offers Shey some unexpected baby news? Then she and Mariah could be expecting together!
