Young And The Restless News Round-Up For The Week (September 19, 2022)

Will Jack fall for Diane’s games and cross a line? What’s the “discovery” that Ashland makes? Will Victoria return to Genoa City and Newman Enterprises? Will anything “happen” between Imani and Nate? Young and the Restless (Y&R) fans just love speculating on storylines! As such, below are some Y&R plotline predictions for July 2022.

12. Nikki and Phyllis

Nikki and Phyllis are set to form an alliance soon. What kind of strategy will they come up with to oust Diane from Genoa City? Will Michael be able to dig up any information on Jenkins? More so, will he spill the beans on his friend if he does? As Jack is a close friend of Nikki’s, there’s a good chance Ms. Newman will place negative information in his ear about Diane, and prop Phyllis up. He may not suspect a thing since Nikki has never been overly fond of Red.

11. They Get Caught

If Nikki and Phyllis scheme up something against Diane, they could get caught. If they do, this will not affect Ms. Newman’s relationship with the Moustache; however, it will build a bigger wall between Jack and Phyllis. Not to mention the fact that Summer will be disappointed in her mom for not keeping her word around the “truce” she promised.

10. Jack Crosses A Line

Whether the ladies are caught plotting or not, Jack is bound to cross a line with Diane in July. This will only infuriate Phyllis even more and heat up this storyline. It could be a simple lip lock shared between the exes or the two could hit the sheets. Either way, Kyle’s mom and dad could be headed for a reunion.

9. Ashland’s Discovery

Ashland is set to make a “discovery” in early July, plus, added teasers note something will backfire on him. Could he head to the doctor’s and be diagnosed with cancer, for real now? Karma can be a real witch at times! If he was diagnosed with the condition … would anyone believe him?

8. Ashland’s Past

Then again, perhaps something else creeps out of Locke’s past. While a boatload of secrets has already been revealed about the sketchy businessman, who’s to say there aren’t more skeletons in his closet? If he’s hiding something else – anything else – Vic’s best option would be to go back home and beg for her family’s forgiveness.

7. One Last Screw Over

There’s also the possibility that Ashland has been planning one last scheme to “screw over” Victoria and the rest of the Newman family. If Michael digs up any information like this, would Vic believe him at this point, or shrug it off? She’d need a ton of evidence to sway how she currently feels.

6. Adam’s Left In The Dog House …

If Vic eventually leaves Ashland, comes back to Newman, and Victor ousts Adam out of that CEO spot like yesterday’s trash, this could leave his son even more bitter than ever. But would he be able to easily do this? Could he sabotage Newman Enterprises on his way out? Maybe Adam finds a loophole in his contract where he could still stay on as CEO or co-CEO? That wouldn’t make Vic or Victor so happy!

She loves her career, and she loves her romance with Adam! With that said, these two can’t keep their hands off each other and seem to be enjoying a lovefest in hotel rooms, boardrooms, and offices. She may even get frustrated at her wife for even suggesting the idea.

As much as Nate tries to fluff off Imani’s advances, there’s no telling what this woman will do to snag her man! There’s no doubt that the two will cross a line, and it’s likely that it won’t simply be a one-night stand; it’ll probably become a bonefide affair that he hides behind Elena’s back.
