12. Amanda Reels

She just found out she’s Hilary’s twin … now what? Amanda will have some identity issues, and she’ll seek support in the form of Devon. Elena won’t be too happy about this. She’s always been a little insecure (for good reasons) when it comes to Hilary, and the fact that Amanda not only looks like her, but is also now a biological connection, too, will blow Elena’s mind. Amanda and Devon will get closer, as friends, but Devon’s attitude may change towards Hilary’s twin, as well.

11. Elena’s Women’s Intuition

As Devon and Amanda become a little closer, Elena will sense Devon’s growing attraction. He won’t do anything about it, and he’ll claim he has no feelings for her, but with Amanda’s connection to Hilary, he won’t be able to stay away. He’ll be more than happy to help Amanda with any questions she has, and Elena will grow increasingly displeased. She may even accuse Devon of having an affair with Amanda or wanting to.

10. Jared’s Return Brings Elena and Nate Closer

For those that remember, Jared was the 18-year-old who was helped by Nate, Elena, and Amanda at the clinic last March. Actor Michael Maclane will reprise the role, and the character will act as a “catalyst” when it comes to the storyline between the two couples. Will he come back to the clinic to seek help again? Could he bring Elena and Nate closer when they try to assist him? Working together long hours can bond friends into something more.

9. Nate and Elena Cross a Line, First

Nate and Elena will spend a lot of time together. A misunderstanding is bound to occur where Elena sees Devon and Amanda in a compromising position. She’ll believe they are having an affair, and cross the line with Nate during a moment of rage. Little will she know that she and Nate will be the ones “cheating” first.

8. Devon’s Revenge

Devon and Amanda will find out about Nate and Elena’s one-night stand and lose their minds. They’ll have lingering chemistry between them, so a night together as an act of revenge will seem right. It’ll be unleashing the tension they’ve had between them for months now. By the end of fall, Elena and Devon, as well as Nate and Amanda, will break up.

7. Adam Against The World

Adam will literally have “the world” against him in the coming months. Billy is set to unleash a terrible plan to bring him down. Chance may have to cut ties with him to protect his relationship with Abby, and Victoria and Nick have never been fans. Chelsea will also be very scorn in the coming weeks. She’ll turn away from Newman and join the “I hate Adam” club. She may even join forces with Billy to bring him down.

6. Adam and Sharon

The only two people pulling for Adam could be Sharon and Victor. In fact, Y&R fans shouldn’t be surprised if Sharon and Rey split up because of her friendship with Adam. Adam and Sharon may also cross a line very soon. These two can’t seem to fight their attraction for each other. Sharon also can’t seem to see how selfish Adam is. Regardless, their love scenes will bring on the heat!

5. Chelsea and Nick?

Now that Chelsea is a free woman, will so go running back to Nick? He and Phyllis have a good thing going; however, Red’s need to continue her rivalry with Abby may start to get old for him. He’s always had a thing for Chelsea, plus he loves nothing more than bouncing between exes!

4. Mariah Asks Tessa To Marry Her

As fall turns into winter, will Y&R fans hear wedding bells? The show’s fall spoilers tease some changes between Mariah and Tessa, with Copeland making an unexpected decision that will impact their romance. Could this mean that Mariah will pop the big question? Or could the “decision” be to break up? Maybe Mariah feels as if it is time for a new chapter, outside the little town?

3. Baby Fun…At First

Chloe and Kevin can bring on the drama in a slap-stick comedic way at times. A new baby is such a blessing and joy, but newborns can bring on the sleepless nights, tons crying, sometimes cholic, and other energy-sucking woes that can always be presented in a funny way. Their baby is set to arrive soon, and watching them with an infant will be cute and hilarious at first, but it might get dark fast.

2. Reality Sets In

There’s nothing like those couple fights at 2 a.m. over who’s turn it is to feed the baby, right? Or the struggle some moms have with breastfeeding. Then, there are those days where a shower isn’t possible or any alone time. Babies take a ton of care, especially when you have to take care of other (older) children. Perhaps, instead of cheesy “fun and games” that most show relay when it comes to newborns, the Y&R will offer up a realistic point of view around new parenthood. At times, couples can struggle with one parent being the sole caretaker, while another one works endless hours to support the family. Could Kevin find a new job, leaving Chloe at home to care for the baby all day?

1. Post-Partum Profiled

Or Chloe could be the one headed to work, leaving Kevin at home with their baby. She could offer up a working mom’s point of view of having to pump during her lunch hour in the washroom or having mom guilt for not experiencing all the small stuff during the day. Then, a post-partum angle could also be presented. This mental health issue doesn’t get enough profile and would help many viewers learn more about what new moms sometimes have to go through.
