Being a celebrity does have its perks. You can get your hands on a lot of things before anyone else, and there’s always a very good chance you won’t even have to pay for it. When it comes to gift-giving, what else could you do for someone who has everything, and could purchase anything they want or need?
Kim “spent” a whopping $20 on Kanye West for his 37th birthday, which was on June 8th. No, she didn’t buy him a copy of her sex tape. No, she didn’t buy him an autographed picture of the whole Kardashian Krew. She offered a little customized somethin-somethin’. And this customized goody is something we can’t get until much later this year.
What is it, you ask? Well, it has limited free parking, and if you loiter for too long on someone’s property and can’t pay up, you can be thrown in jail. Yes, Kim scored Kanye a customized Monopoly game from Hasbro. And the game board has several spaces that have been renamed to their favorite and most important places. Sweet gift, huh?
This customized Monopoly also allows owners to determine what is on the “Chance” and “Community Chest” cards. It does sound like a pretty fun gift. Knowing Kim and Kanye, they’ll invite friends over and play with real money. And if you’ve never played with real money, you should try it sometime. (Think small dividends of what’s listed on the spaces.)
