Before she became a fashion designer, she was already stylish, even as a young child. In this picture that she posted on her Instagram account, she is swearing the sweetest little grey dress with white lace and a little red bow. 11. Attending a Party in Milan, Italy, 1995

As a teen model during the ‘90s, the real estate heiress was invited to her fair share of parties. This photo is from 1995. She attended a party at the Old Fashion Café in Milan, Italy, and it can only be assumed that she was in Italy because of her modeling career. She was only 14 years old in this picture!

10. With Her Brothers

The blonde beauty has always been close with her brothers – even when they were young! She shared this throwback picture that showed all three of them together as kids and it’s obvious that their bond was strong. According to Don and Eric, their parent’s divorce pulled the three siblings even closer together, although it is unclear in this picture whether this was before or after the divorce.

9. Born Rich Premiere, 2003

Before Ivanka was a big celebrity, she was featured in Born Rich, a 2003 documentary about what it’s like to grow up in a really wealthy family. While some of the other cast members came off as spoiled, Ivanka didn’t. She seemed poised and appreciative of her position and didn’t brag or boast at all.

8. Yankee Stadium, 1992

Ivanka posted this picture that showed of her with her brother Eric at Yankee Stadium in 1992. She would have been about 11 years old and she clearly was pretty stylish for her age. She can be seen rocking a pair of jean shorts with a white blouse, a pair of white socks and red Mary Janes.

7. With Her Father at a Fashion Show, 1999

In 1999, the young model attended the Zang Toi Fall Collection with her father. She looks really different in this photo with the dark hair and the red lipstick. At this point, she was still modeling and had been walking in the Marc Bouwer Fashion Show and the Zang Toi Fashion Show.

6. Ivanka with her Mother

Ivanka has always been really close to her mother, Ivana. After her parent’s contentious divorce, she and her brothers were primarily raised by Ivana. “I was in charge of raising our children before our divorce, and I had sole custody of them after the split. I made the decisions about their education, activities, travel, child care, and allowances,” Ivana said in her book Raising Trump.

3. An Event at the Plaza Hotel, 1997

Back in 1991, the real estate heiress attended an event with her father at the Plaza Hotel. At this point, her parents were in the process of acrimoniously divorcing and, according to her, this brought her closer to both her parents. “I became closer with both of my parents because I was at that stage in life where you do take your parents for granted and something like that happens and maybe you stop taking them for granted as much… They made a real effort to ensure that we knew that they would always be there for us and accessible to us and it helped us through a difficult time,” she told People.

2. Her Modeling Days

Back in the late ‘90s, Ivanka was a model. She was featured in print ads for Tommy Hilfiger and Sassoon jeans and walked the runway for Versace, Marc Bouwer and Thierry Mugler. The heiress traveled to Nice during the summer of 1997 when she was still a high school student. While she initially was a student at the Chapin School in Manhattan, she was transferred to the boarding school, Choate Rosemary Hall, which is in Wallingford, Connecticut, when she was 15. She didn’t really like Choate and compared it to a prison, so it must have been nice for her to get away even if it was just for a summer!
