Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry has finally chosen a name for her third son and announced her choice over Instagram on Sunday.
“Lux Russell, 08/05/17, 15ox, 19 3/4. Born at 3 am on the dot,” Lowry shared alongside a photo of her son sleeping on a personalized blanket with the name written across. “It only took us 7 weeks to decide a name and 8 weeks to make it official.” Lowry did not reveal an explanation as to why she chose this specific name.
Prior to the name announcement, Lowry would post photos of the newborn under the name “Baby Lo” since she was still undecided about an official name. Lowry had Lux Russell with her ex-boyfriend Chris Lopez and the newborn is her third son. Lux Russell will be joining brother Isaac Elliot, with whom she had with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera, and Lincoln Marshall, with whom she had with ex-husband Javi Marroquin.
Lowry has previously spoken out about the hectic life of raising three boys but also admitted she wouldn’t want it any other way. “Isaac is very soft and just sensitive. He’s like my science kid. He loves science. Lincoln definitely has middle child syndrome. He’s crazy. He’s funny. And the baby, we’ll see how he differs between the two,” she revealed. “The best part is that I feel like no child loves their mom like a boy loves their mom so I get three times that.”
