It looks like this upcoming Christmas season is going to be a battle of former One Tree Hill stars!

A month after it was revealed that One Tree Hill alums Hilarie Burton, Danneel Ackles, Robert Buckley and Antwon Tanner had all reunited for a Lifetime holiday movie called The Christmas Contract, it has now been announced that another One Tree Hill star is tackling the holiday movie genre.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Chad Michael Murray, who starred as Lucas Scott on the beloved teen drama, has been cast to star in an upcoming Hallmark Channel Christmas movie called The Wise Men. Murray is set to star alongside Jessy Schram of Once Upon a Time fame in the film in which Schram’s character Maggie is tasked with making sure her boss’s three adult sons make it home for Christmas but is thwarted by a massive blizzard. Murray plays Danny, the eldest son and Maggie’s co-worker, who helps her in tracking down his two brothers as a romance blossoms between himself and Maggie.

Fans of Hallmark’s infamous Christmas movies will be excited to learn that this holiday season the channel will be airing a record 36 Christmas films on both the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

As previously reported, the four other One Tree Hill vets will be starring in a Lifetime holiday movie in which Hilarie Burton stars as Jolie, a woman who travels home to Louisiana for Christmas after a bad breakup with her boyfriend who is from the same town. As Jolie has to deal with her ex bringing a new girl home from the holidays, she leans on her friends for support and signs a “Christmas contract” with her best friend’s (Ackles) brother, played by Robert Buckley, to pretend to be her boyfriend.
