Shocking revelations and surprising alliances are formed this week, as Genoa City celebrates American Independence Day with fireworks, and plenty of explosions are in motion for the Young and the Restless (Y&R) fans. 10. Kyle and Jack

First and foremost, father and son team join forces this week, as Kyle and Jack decide to prepare for their upcoming lawsuit against Jill. The duo decides to get Dina prepared too (for the stand), placing the first step of their plan in motion against Jill and the rest of the Chancellor family.

9. The Risk

While Dina and Kyle have built a nice little relationship as of late, he decides to set up a mock trial for his grandmother. Dina will remember being with Philip Chancellor and Jack will feel positive about placing her on the stand in court. Unfortunately, as time wears on, Dina’s mind drifts into confusion and chaos, and she’ll become quite agitated. Jack may have to think twice about putting Dina on the stand after all.

8. Kyle Has Another Plan

When it seems like all is lost, after Dina gets upset in the mock trial, Kyle comes up with another scheme on his own, leaving Jack in the dark. Y&R spoilers indicate that Kyle may take the entire ordeal into his own hands and try and dig up Philip Chancellor’s body on his own. Promos for next week show Kyle with a shovel in hand, but spoilers also indicate that he might get caught.

7. Nikki and Sharon’s Fright

Speaking of digging up bodies, as Phyllis suggests that the four ladies do some digging on their own to confirm that J.T. is, in fact, dead and gone, it seems that Nikki and Sharon will get a scare this week while seemingly alone in a house when a very alive J.T. looks into their window. Y&R promos show the two ladies screaming in fright as J.T. lingers outside. This storyline is getting very intriguing and it’ll be interesting to see how all this ends up.

6. Fireworks Set Off!

That’s not the only crazy thing that happens to Nikki this week. As fireworks go off for the Y&R’s Independence Day celebrations, things will explode between Arturo, Abby, and Nikki this week. The three will have a confrontation, and despite Nikki’s constant nagging, the couple will ignore her negativity and take their relationship to the next level, creating some fireworks of their own in the bedroom.

5. Ashley’s Announcement

Ashley makes a surprising announcement this week when she decides to make a Jabot comeback. This is not good news for Billy, who is falling deeper into gambling, all to help bail out Summer. Can Ashely use Billy’s gambling woes against him to win back Jabot? Only time will tell.

Dr. Nate Hastings, Neil’s nephew, returns this week as actor Brooks Darnell is recast in the role. As Hilary goes to visit Neil, she’ll be shocked to see Nate, shirtless and all, open the door to greet her. Nate has actually been brought on board to secretly treat Victor’s current health situation.

This week, Summer will be all over the map as she comes clean to her mom, and also gets her buttons pushed by Kyle. Meanwhile, Y&R spoilers indicate that Billy is back gambling, and as Summer has had a lot to do with him initially starting this bad habit up again, you know she might have something to do with the fact that he’s gambling this week.
