One Tree Hill’s Hilarie Burton Shares Photo With “Baby Jenny” Now All Grown Up
This past weekend marked a reunion of many One Tree Hill stars as many of the cast members came together for a Friends With Benefits Charity Event benefiting St. Jude’s Children’s hospital.
The event called “A Weekend in Tree Hill: Charity Fundraiser” had stars like Hilarie Burton, Sophia Bush, Antwon Tanner, Bryan Greenberg and more, and among the many amazing photos they posted from the weekend, Burton gave an update on Baby Jenny Jagielski.
Burton posted a photo along with Greenberg who played Jake Jagielski and his on-screen daughter Grace Holcomb who played Jenny Jagielski. “So this little bunny made me cry! Please meet the lovely @gracemholcomb Many many moons ago, she played @bryangreenberg ‘s baby “Jenny” on OTH, so he and I spent a lot of time with her when she was 1,” Burton began her post featuring herself and Greenberg.
She went on to reveal that Grace is now 15, and working on her own initiatives and charities. “Since then, I’ve stayed in contact with her mom and gotten to watch her blossom into a badass, beautiful 15 year old. She joined us at @fwbcharityevents this weekend, and needless to say, it was a happy reunion. But what REALLY struck me was that from the money she made, she came up to me and said she’d heard about the work I was doing with my own high school – Park View – trying to raise money for the kids at that Title One school to participate in extracurricular activities. Sweet Grace wanted to donate her own money toward our initiative @pvhs_project_patriot.”
She continued, “A student athlete herself – she is an Extraordinary golf player – she knows first hand what it’s like to lack equipment and resources for sports and she wanted to get involved giving back. I love this kid. Thank you Grace, for thinking of others. You’re an honorary Park View Patriot now. And all you colleges with golf programs listen up! Not only is this girl a total pro but she is a supreme human being! Get those scholarships rolling in! #babyjenny #oth #giveback#parkviewpatriots.”
Meanwhile Holcomb also posted her own series of photos featuring herself with many of the stars who she starred with as only a baby. “part 1- thank you, thank you, thank you, to everyone who made this weekend possible. I am beyond grateful for this whole surreal experience. Thanks to @fwbcharityevents who asked me to be apart of their “A Weekend In Tree Hill”. I’m so glad to be apart of this big One Tree Hill family. The fans are literally the sweetest people in the world and i’m so happy to have finally reunited with the cast!! I love you guys!!! #babyjenny#aweekendintreehill,” Holcomb captioned her post.
