With 2019 wrapping up, it’s that time of year where we take a look back at all the memorable fashion and red carpet moments of the year. From the Oscars to the Met Gala and SAG Awards, the stars of Hollywood definitely brought their A-game in 2019 when it came to their awards show attire. 50. Taylor Swift, iHeartRadio Music Awards

Taylor Swift made a rare appearance at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music awards wearing an electric rainbow romper that had all eyes on her! Swift had been infamously private for the last year so seeing her step out looking happier than ever in this beautiful iridescent romper was such a treat.



49. Elle Fanning, iHeartRadio Music Awards 2019

Elle Fanning looked gorgeous in this peach sparkling gown at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards. It had the perfect amount of sultriness with the cutouts on the bodice but was still elegant and feminine with the chiffon skirt and silver metallic embellishment.

48. Jessie James Decker, ACM Awards

Jessie James Decker was a total bombshell at this year’s ACM Awards where she stepped out wearing a nude belted mini dress with red speckled embellishment throughout. Typically we don’t love a minidress on the red carpet, but Jessie James proved us otherwise! This look was glam, sultry and totally eye-catching.

Carrie Underwood is always one of the best-dressed women when it comes to country award shows and she didn’t let us down with her look for the ACMs! The singer donned a sparkling charcoal one-shoulder number which featured two dramatic slits on both legs.

46. Priyanka Chopra, Billboard Music Awards

Priyanka Chopra was elegant and glamorous beyond compare at the Billboard Music Awards this year! We absolutely love this long sleeve sparkling dress she opted for on the red carpet. It fit her like a glove, complemented her dark features and really brought the red carpet glitz factor.

Sharon Carpenter stole the show at the 40th annual Emmy Awards where she walked the red carpet wearing this delicate peach pleated dress. The fanned out neckline of this look truly made it unlike anything we’ve seen before, which is exactly why we were such big fans!

Taylor Hill was the epitome of old Hollywood glamour at this year’s Met Gala. While this look wasn’t necessarily on theme, we can’t help but absolutely love the combination of this luxe silk dress with the airy feathered shawl.

Candice Swanepoel totally stunned at the 2019 Met Gala where she stepped out in this sparkling pale blue gown which featured a dramatic billowing train. To make this look even more impressive, Swanepoel styled her hair to mimic the shape of a tiara, which added something totally unique and funky to her look.

Kylie Jenner was a total bombshell at this year’s Met Gala and we were blown away when she stepped out in this beautiful lilac creation! From the feathered sleeves to the violet wig, this look was everything we could have asked for and more.

Alessandra Ambrosio looked like a glowing goddess at the 2019 Cannes premiere of The Dead Don’t Die. She donned a sheer dress from Ralph & Russo’s Spring 2019 Couture collection. The dress was romantic and glamorous with a hint of feathers on the leg and a sheer white train.

Riverdale star Lili Reinhart stunned at the 2019 Governors Awards where she rocked this buttery yellow dress. The shape of this gown was absolutely fabulous, especially with all the intricate pleating which flattered her figure perfectly.

Olivia Wilde made heads turn when she appeared at the Governors Awards wearing this deep wine-colored dress. From the plunging neckline to the sequined texture, this dress had old Hollywood written all over it.

Unsurprisingly, Lady Gaga looked absolutely angelic at this year’s SAG Awards where she opted for a voluminous white gown designed by Dior Haute Couture. The shredded tulle hemlines of the gown were feminine but also edgy, which perfectly encapsulates Gaga’s personal style. She accessorized with a chunky gold choker necklace and an oxblood lip which made for a truly glamorous red carpet moment.

Of all the Golden Globes red carpet looks in 2019, one of our absolute favorites had to be Sandra Oh’s debut dress on the red carpet. The co-host and Golden Globe winner definitely had a monumental evening with a wardrobe to match! We love all the flattering ruching on this dress and her old Hollywood-inspired finger waves.

Lupita Nyong’o is one of the most well-dressed women in Hollywood, and she proved that even further with her striking beaded look for the 2019 Golden Globes. The floor-length dress was a stunning blue-violet color and featured intricate silver beading throughout. For even more glitz, Nyong’o topped the look with sparkling drop-style earrings.

Regina King was an absolute bombshell on this year’s Golden Globes red carpet. She opted for an Alberta Ferretti dress in a dazzling shade of rose gold that flattered her complexion and features flawlessly. It hugged her curves in the best way possible and truly left us speechless!

Lady Gaga is known to make an entrance when it comes to the red carpet, and she definitely didn’t disappoint for the 2019 Golden Globes. The A Star is Born actress opted for the eccentric route and decided to match her dress to her freshly dyed pastel hair! We absolutely love this unexpected touch of coordination.

Saoirse Ronan dazzled on the Golden Globes red carpet in this silver chainmail dress with a plunging neckline. She was one of the last to arrive on the red carpet and she seriously stole the show! The striking Gucci dress was sultry but also delicate, which made it a jaw-dropping red carpet moment.

Kiki Layne looked absolutely angelic on the 2019 Golden Globes red carpet in this tulle corset gown. The custom Dior number in a stunning shade of ashy blush worked perfectly to highlight Layne’s skin tone. We also love how her hair was coiled into a polished topknot and low bun, which we thought resembled an elegant ballerina.

Lady Gaga blew us away with her silver ruffle dress at this year’s Grammy Awards! This look actually seemed somewhat modest for how Gaga usually dresses for awards shows, which felt refreshing. It was obviously still dramatic but in a glamorous and appropriate way.

Jada Pinkett Smith absolutely dazzled on the Grammys red carpet this year where she stepped out in metallics and feathers in the most tasteful way possible. Her look was the perfect example of being dramatic and glitzy without going over the top.

Crazy Rich Asians star Michelle Yeoh was undeniably one of the best-dressed women of the evening at the 2019 Oscars. She stepped out wearing a blush and silver Elie Saab number that featured the most beautiful foil embellishment. It was unique, whimsical and totally glamorous.

Emilia Clarke dazzled on the Oscars red carpet where she stepped out wearing this glittering lilac number designed by Balmain. We absolutely love the sculptural yet soft feel of this dress. From the glitter to the pleats to the dramatic neckline, this look was the epitome of red carpet glamour.

Lady Gaga looked absolutely striking on the 2019 Oscar red carpet wearing this sculptural black Alexander McQueen dress inspired by Breakfast at Tiffany’s. She even topped the look with a dazzling Tiffany & Co. necklace last worn by Hepburn when promoting her iconic film back in 1961.


2. Jennifer Lopez, Oscars

Even though Jennifer Lopez wasn’t attending the Academy Awards on behalf of a nomination, that didn’t stop her from dressing to the nines. We absolutely loved this swoon-worthy mirrored dress worn by Lopez. It fit her like a glove, featured a little glitz and showed off her figure without showing any skin. Absolutely flawless!

1. Kate Middleton, BAFTAs

Unsurprisingly, our favorite look during the 2019 Awards shows season was the whimsical and floaty dress worn by the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, at the BAFTA Awards. The Duchess always nails her BAFTAs look each year and 2019 was no exception. We love the frilly shoulder detail of this dress which was the perfect example of glamor without going overboard.
