Just when things were really getting heated between rappers Snoop Dogg and Iggy Azalea, Snoop has taken the high road and apologized to Azalea.
After a barrage of shots being fired from both sides, mostly in the form of tweets, pictures and videos, Snoop Dogg made one more video in which he issues his apology.
The whole diffusing of the situation was orchaestrated by none other than T.I who is a good friend of Snoop’s and is Iggy’s manager.
In an Instagram video Snoop says, “Boys and girls, I just got off the phone with my boy Tip, the king of Atlanta, and it’s officially over. No more bad talk, I apologize, I apologize. I’m sorry, I won’t do it again.”
Although he never mentioned Iggy directly, it is obvious to whom Snoop is apologizing, an apology which Iggy accepted over Twitter, “I appreciate the apology @snoopdogg. Let that be that people, time to focus on the positive things I’ve got going on. no time to dwell on the negative.”
The feud spilled over to many parties dragging in Iggy’s boyfriend Swaggy P. also known as Nick Young of the L.A Lakers.
As well as Marlon Wayans whose character from White Chicks Snoop compared Iggy to, with Wayans stating, “I don’t think that’s a fair comparison.”
T.I. obviously has some serious managing and mediation skills and all is well that ends well when it comes to high-profile rapper feuds on social media.
