Priscilla Presley has confirmed she is caring for her daughter Lisa Marie Presley’s two daughters after news broke Lisa Marie’s ex-husband Michael Lockwood is being investigated for alleged child abuse.
Priscilla, the ex-wife of Elvis Presley, took to her Facebook on Sunday, February 19 to speak out about reports that Lisa Marie’s 8-year-old twin daughters Finley and Harper had been taken into foster care after their father, Lockwood, was accused of having very “disturbing” videos and images of children on his computer.
Reports first indicated that Lisa Marie claimed in court documents that she found the disturbing photos of her children on Lockwood’s computer at home. She said in the papers she was “shocked and horrified and sick to my stomach” when she found the alleged images belonging to her ex, and it was reported that this is what prompted the twins to be taken into protective care.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your positive support,” Priscilla wrote on her Facebook page along with a picture of the two girls. She then added, “There is lots of confusion, commotion and concern from all the talk circulating. Let me put this rest… the girls have not been in foster care and never will be. The girls have been with me and will be until all this is sorted out.”
While details surrounding Lockwood’s case are limited, the Beverly Hills Police Department did confirm he is being investigated for child abuse.
