Hilary Duff’s older sister and fellow actress Haylie Duff, 29, is happy to announce she is expecting her first child, a daughter with fiancé Matt Rosenberg.
On Tuesday December 2, Duff took to her Instagram to post a picture of tiny baby sneakers along with the caption, “Happiest girl in the world! Finally can let everyone know that Matty @ mr_sts and I are expecting! #BabysFirstJordans.”
While she announced her big news on social media, she used her blog, The Real Girl’s Kitchen, to announce the gender of their newest addition.
“I have always shared everything with ya’ll here on Real Girl’s Kitchen…You have been with me through dating, falling in love, getting engaged and now the moment that has changed my life forever! Today we have big, exciting, wonderful, magical, amazing news! Matty and I are expecting a baby girl! Entering this new chapter of our lives and our relationship has been so special. We are so happy and so in love with her already!!!”
Meanwhile little sister Hilary shared her excitement for her big sister on her Twitter, ‘GUYS I’m going 2 be an auntie @haylieduff & @matt_sts are going to be the best parents to a sweet baby & luc will have a partner in crime.”
Haylie and Rosenberg became engaged earlier in the year when he proposed on April Fool’s Day.
