Given the fact that Daniel Craig was so candid and unapologetic about how he felt about his role as James Bond through Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall and Spectre, he had to expect backlash, and he’s getting it even from other celebrities.

On Thursday, Oct. 8, Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo took to her Twitter to slam Craig for his comments when asked if he would take on the role of 007 again in a recent interview with Time Out London. Pomepo scolded Craig, tweeting, “This dude needs a reality check,” while linking to an article in which he made the comments.

When asked if he would be Bond again in the near future, he replied, “Now? I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists. No, not at the moment. Not at all. That’s fine. I’m over it at the moment. We’re done. All I want to do is move on.” The extreme response made headlines, making Craig seem like an entitled Hollywood diva as he added he “doesn’t give a f–k” who plays Bond after him. A fan, however, was quick to point out to Pompeo the comments were taken out of context and were part of a much bigger article to which she responded, “You are absolutely right! I certainly have been there.”
