After joining the cast of Teen Mom OG this season as one of two new moms featured on the popular MTV reality series, it seems Bristol Palin is not happy at all about what MTV has chosen to portray about her life.

The mom of three lashed out about the show and the network of the Monday, December 10 episode with a post she shared on Instagram featuring a photo of her with her three children: son Tripp and daughters Sailor and Atlee.

“If I cared what people thought of me, I wouldn’t be here today – let’s be real. I’ve stood strong and held it down for my kids since day one,” she began her message.

“No matter how bad @teenmom tries to portray my “life” ….. my babies, my family, my close friends – they know the TRUTH. I’m a pretty great mom, work my ass off, show up, and hustle everyday to give my kids a pretty great life. @mtv doesn’t want to talk about faith, show work ethic, or juggling three kids alone, they don’t want to show the humble process of starting over after a divorce, building a career, or any real life issues,” wrote Palin, who was one of the most famous teen moms in America when she welcomed her son Tripp at 17 while her mother Sarah Palin was running for Vice President.

She went on to allude to the fact that they only brought her on to try to fill in the drama that former Teen Mom OG star Farrah Abraham created. All they want with my little segment each week is some fake fill-in Farrah Abraham/Jerry Springer BS, and it’s simply not true. Don’t get me wrong – I’ve said some mean things and learned a lot the last several months – but the life I’ve built for my kids is NOT sitting around talking about baby daddy drama.”

She concluded, “Every week is a continued disappointment with their inaccuracies and false narratives. I hate getting all emo on you guys but I’ve kept quiet for too long about it. Don’t believe everything you see on TV.”

As fans of the show have seen, this season of Teen Mom OG has centered around Palin’s unraveling marriage to ex-husband Dakota Meyer and their struggles to co-parent and communicate and Palin isn’t the only one unhappy with what the show has chosen to portray to audiences in her segments.

Meyers also took to social media recently to blast the show, calling it ” trailer trash Real Housewives.”
