BREAKING: Courtney Hope Exits Bold And The Beautiful

Courtney Hope is exiting Bold and the Beautiful after three years on the show portraying Sally Spectra.

The soap actress took to Instagram to break the news to fans.”An abrupt ending to a monumental journey. The last three years have been amazing, and though I do not know what the future holds this chapter of Sally has sadly come to an end,” she wrote. “I love my @boldandbeautifulcbs cast and crew and will miss everyone dearly, but await the day we may all play again. Some things are out of our control, and I thank the fans for your support through it all! Until then, I revel in new beginnings and everything the future has in store.”

In some ways, this news makes sense. In today’s B&B episode, Wyatt asked Sally to leave town — or at the very least to leave him and Flo alone. Sally had bee faking a terminal illness to try and come between Wyatt and Flo. Some fans had been hoping to see Sally be redeemed somehow with some speculating that the character would have a brain tumor.

Hope joined the cast of B&B back in January 2017. Prior to that role, she portrayed Beth Wilder in the television show Quantum Break for four episodes in 2016.
