The Disney princesses have been the style icons of many women since childhood, so it’s no surprise that celebrities opt to channel their favorite princess when they step out onto the red carpet. 20. Cinderella & Lupita Nyong’o

Lupita Nyong’o without a doubt used Cinderella as her inspiration for her look at the 2014 Oscars. The powder blue dress popped fabulously against her skin tone and the soft updo with a dainty headband perfectly replicated Cinderella’s iconic look.

19. Snow White & Olivia Palermo

We can’t help but compare Olivia Palermo’s look for the 2014 British Fashion Awards to Snow White’s iconic yellow dress. Olivia’s satin skirt perfectly mimicked Snow White’s signature look and her black cap sleeve top acted as a modern alternative to Snow White’s navy puff sleeve bodice.

18. Princess Jasmine & Taylor Swift

We can’t help but compare Taylor Swift’s 2014 AMA look to Princess Jasmine’s signature ensemble! If Taylor were to just add gold earrings and a bright headband to her look, we could certainly be able to draw a direct comparison between the two looks.

17. Belle & Amanda Seyfried

Amanda Seyfried was definitely the belle of the ball when she stepped out at the 2018 Met Gala wearing a golden yellow dress. Many fashion critics made an instant connection to Belle from Beauty in the Beast when she stepped out wearing this dazzling yellow ballgown.

16. Cinderella & Zendaya

Zendaya replicated Cinderella’s ensemble for her 2019 Met Gala look and she even brought along a personal Fairy Godfather! Her look consisted of an iridescent skirt, puff shoulders, a blonde wig, and a delicate headband, just like Cinderella’s from the original film.

15. Princess Anna & Adele

There’s an uncanny resemblance between Adele’s Givenchy Grammy dress from 2017 and Princess Anna’s classic green dress from Frozen. The rich shade of green and the directional pattern of both their looks appear remarkably similar! Adele even wore her hair in a loose updo just like Princess Anna.

14. Princess Jasmine & Kerry Washington

We can’t help but compare this look Kerry Washington wore to the Met Gala in 2011 to Princess Jasmine’s signature look in Aladdin. Both looks are a flattering shade of light teal and the cutouts on Washington’s look definitely resemble Jasmine’s two-piece set. Kerry even wore her hair in thick curls just like Princess Jasmine’s!

13. Queen Elsa & Elle Fanning

There’s no denying how similar Elle Fanning looked to Queen Elsa from Frozen when she attended the Maleficent World Premiere. The dress she wore featured a similar off-the-shoulder neckline and glittering blue beading just like Elsa’s!

12. Pocahontas & Eva Mendes

While Eva Mendes’ look isn’t an identical match to Pocahontas, we can definitely draw some comparisons. The sleek white dress with ruffles certainly resembles Pocahontas’ feathered dress, but the true point of comparison is both of their chunky blue necklaces!

There’s definitely a resemblance between the flowy princess gown that Amal Clooney wore to the Cannes Film Festival in 2017 and Rapunzel’s signature purple gown. The shade of lavender and corset detailing of Amal’s look is nearly identical to Rapunzel’s!

10. Queen Elsa & Diane Kruger

Diane Kruger gave us all the Frozen vibes when she stepped out at the Cannes Film Festival in 2017 wearing this flowing blue dress covered in swirled beading and sequins. Her hair even resembled Elsa’s signature braid with the loose and wispy updo!

9. Jasmine & Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum definitely channeled her inner Princess Jasmine when she stepped out on the red carpet to attend the Emmys in 2012. The soft teal color of her dress is remarkably similar to Jasmine’s most recognizable look in Aladdin. The sheer detailing of Klum’s skirt is also quite reminiscent of Princess Jasmine’s wispy pants.

8. Cinderella & Blake Lively

Blake Lively was a real-life Cinderella when she graced the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival in 2016. Her ruffled tulle skirt had a true fairytale-like quality about it and the wispy hairstyle Lively opted for further proved that Cinderella was her inspiration behind the look.

7. Rapunzel & Keira Knightley

Keira Knightley has definitely tested out quite a few different hairstyles throughout the years! One of her most memorable hairstyles is when she had long flowing blond tresses, similar to Rapunzel’s! We can’t help but make the comparison between the two, especially given how closely Knightley’s purple and gold dress resembles Rapunzel’s iconic dress.

Julianne Hough totally resembled a mermaid when she stepped out at the 2012 Primetime Emmys wearing this aquamarine dress that featured a corset bodice and dramatic beaded skirt. The skirt of Hough’s dress appeared nearly identical to Ariel’s shimmering tail, which is why we definitely think she had The Little Mermaid in mind when planning out her look for this event.

Fashion critics instantly made the comparison to Belle from Beauty and the Beast when Alicia Vikander stepped onto the red carpet for the 2016 Academy Awards. The yellow dress certainly had a princess-like quality about it with the shimmering beading, billowing skirt, and bright buttercup yellow color.

There’s no denying that Riverdale star Madelaine Petsch quite literally channeled Tinkerbell with her look for the 2019 Met Gala! From her delicate wings, heavy bangs and the light turquoise color of her dress, we definitely see the resemblance between the star and the tiny fairy from Peter Pan.

Another star who perfectly channeled her inner Belle on the red carpet is Leslie Mann! Her dress for the 2017 Oscars is nearly an identical replica of Belle’s with the sweetheart neckline and billowing skirt. Mann certainly looked every bit a princess when she twirled around the red carpet in this gorgeous number!
