(LOS ANGELES) — Sofia Vergara and her fiancé Nick Loeb have broken up, the actress revealed on her WhoSay page on Saturday.
Vergara said in her post that she was making the break up public “in order to not give the press the chance to invent crazy and hurtfull [sic] drama.”
The pair opted to split up after “having too many problems with figuring out how to spend time together,” Vergara explained. “It’s been getting worse and worse, not fun anymore.”
The Modern Family star explained that the two are “still very close,” but that a split was best for each of them.
Vergara and Loeb were engaged in July 2012.
