Being famous isn’t easy for many celebrities. In fact, it can be downright toxic for some, which might help explain why they achieve an incredible amount of fame only to completely lose control of everything. Here are 10 celebrities who were once full of promise but, unfortunately, fell from grace.

10. Chris Brown

Chris Brown was at the peak of his career when he was charged with domestic abuse after he beat Rihanna unconscious in 2009. Since then he has remained a pretty controversial figure in the music industry. When he won the Grammy in 2012 for Best R&B Album, he was anything but modest. “HATE ALL YOU WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY Now! That’s the ultimate F**K OFF!” Brown tweeted.

9. Justin Bieber

Like any child star, Justin Bieber’s image was squeaky clean when he became an international pop sensation, but that image has been sullied in the last year. The tween dream has been accused of attacking the paparazzi, egging his neighbor’s house and he was arrested on suspicion of drag racing and driving under the influence.

8. Jodie Sweetin

Despite getting sober and making a conscious effort to get his career back on track, he has never been able to achieve the same level of success he had when he was young.

Tara Reid was the girl next door when she starred on “American Pie;” however, after a couple of botched plastic surgery procedures and years of excessive partying, her image has been completely desstroyed.
