Write about Jimmy Fallon all week? Why wouldn’t we? This guy is quickly becoming the king of late night. Not since the late, great Johnny Carson has there been anyone with such infectious charisma.

This week, Jimmy has been in Los Angeles, and he has had no shortage of awesome in venturing to the west coast. Shooting at the Universal Studios lot has allowed for some pretty epic potential. This included the building of a set to precisely resemble the Bayside High School set from Saved By The Bell. And the eight minute sketch with the former stars of the show… Truly. Amazing.

On Thursday, Jimmy continued to roll out the awesome when Will Smith sat down for a chat and some fun. Together, Will and Jimmy took advantage of Loopy–that stellar app for musical looping purposes, which everyone should have just because it’s so much fun to play with–and laid down some sick beatbox tracks to accompany themselves for a little rap journey.

They threw down It Takes Two by Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock, then jumped into the chorus adding The Roots, and another episode of The Tonight Show perfection was achieved.

Hopefully Jimmy will make his way west more often. It’d be fantastic if it became an annual thing following Super Bowl weekend, and especially next year, considering the Super Bowl will be in San Francisco (well, Santa Clara, technically). Or heck, a week in San Fran would be pretty awesome for the show, too.

If you didn’t see Will and Jimmy drop the boom last night, you can check out the video below and see what everyone is talking about!
