Once a Slytherin, always a Slytherin!
Harry Potter fans were ecstatic when Harry Potter star Matthew Lewis posted a photo of himself catching up with costar Tom Felton and Felton posted the same photo after their mini reunion.
“See how close he was to converting…. @mattdavelewis #gryffindork,” Felton, 30, captioned an Instagram pic over the weekend. In the photo, he can be seen handing Lewis, 29, a backpack with a Slytherin emblem from the popular movies.
But he wasn’t going to get the last laugh. “I can’t even go for a pint without you hounding me,” Lewis later commented. “Can’t you have an Adidas bag like regular folk?! #Gryfforthewin”
When Lewis posted the photo on his own Instagram page, he captioned it, “Take your Slytherin paws off me, you damn dirty ape! @t22felton”
Of course, the two actors starred as Draco Malfoy and Neville Longbottom in the mega franchise for all eight films that were released from 2001 to 2011.
“This picture gives my soul life,” one Harry Potter fan commented. Another added: “OMG Draco and Neville with Draco holding a slytherin bag in 2018 why is this the best thing I’ve seen all year.”
Although the last Harry Potter film was released seven years ago, it seems much of the cast have stayed in touch as this isn’t the first time any of the stars have posted photos with each other. Earlier this year, Felton shared another photo alongside Emma Watson and Lewis, captioning the photo, “School mates.”
