Ready for a ride in the Comet, One Tree Hill fans?
On Friday, June 11, former One Tree Hill stars Hilarie Burton, Bethany Joy Lenz and Sophia Bush who played Peyton Sawyer, Haley James and Brooke Davis respectively announced they have teamed up for a podcast focused on the beloved teen series.
While the podcast doesn’t have any episodes yet, there is an intro with the three actresses revealing they are going to rewatch the series and talk about their time on the show. They even mused about where their characters would be today with Burton exclaiming Peyton would have been through “a lot of therapy,” and all three agreeing that Brooke would definitely be a senator right now. Meanwhile Lenz said that Haley had to be close to being an empty nester, ‘she might be finally ready to live out those wild years.”
The intro starts with the iconic Peyton line “First of all, you don’t know me” followed by a very catchy theme song where you can hear some of Bethany’s great vocals. Burton also says” I feel like it’s going to be a walk down memory lane but also more of a stumble down memory lane.”
“There is no fans like One Tree Hill fans and there is no family like our family. So we got together to do a rewatch podcast, to relive the show, as so many of you have (because to be hones, we haven’t)” Bush explained. Lenz added “we haven’t seen it since 2002-2003.”
