Y&R and General Hospital star Michelle Stafford has opened up about her personal life on Instagram amidst the Y&R recasting drama!
Reports have explained that Stafford has decided to leave the role of Nina on General Hospital that she originated and will be heading back to The Young and the Restless to reprise her role as Phyllis. Gina Tognoni, who is currently playing Phyllis, has reportedly been let go. Many wondered why Stafford has remained silent on social media amid the shocking reports of her GH departure, but she’s opened up on Instagram about personal issues with her father, which has led many to assume that’s why she’s decided to stay quiet.
Stafford shared a photo of clear blue water with the caption, “I wanted to share my view with you. I love all of you guys! Truly…You are so lovely to me. Thank you for all of your kind words and love. I wanted to thank all of you who reached out to me and DM’d me in the last few days about my father’s heart surgery.
