At 46-years old, singer Marc Anthony hasn’t lost any of his Latin charm as he married 26-year old Venezuelan model, Shannon De Lima in the Dominican Republic on Tuesday November 11.
The couple said “I do” in an intimate ceremony at Anthony’s private residence in the Casa de Campo resort.
Anthony and De Lima began dating in 2012 and news of their engagement only broke in early November although the star reportedly proposed back in March 2014.
Anthony and De Lima dated on and off after his split from Jennifer Lopez in 2012 but didn’t become serious until 2014 with Anthony and Lopez’s divorce being finalized in June 2014.
As well as a gorgeous model, and a gorgeous singer, Anthony’s first marriage was to a former Miss Universe, Dayana Torres whom he married in 2000 and divorced in 2004, marrying Lopez only a couple weeks after the divorce was finalized.
He was then married to Lopez in 2004 and the couple seperated in 2011, filed for divorce in 2012 and as mentioned, the divorce was finalized in 2014, only four months before his new marriage to De Lima.
Consequently De Lima and Anthony are starting off with a large family as Anthony is father to six children from previous marriages and relationships while De Lima is mother to a seven year old son, Daniel, from a previous relationship.
Jennifer Lopez has no hard feelings for her ex and baby daddy by stating, “I am happy for Marc’s engagement” after learning of his impending marriage to De Lima.
