Singers Jason DeRulo,25, and Jordin Sparks, 25, were very much in love for three years and were even discussing marriage before the whole relationship fell apart five months ago.
After the split it was pretty clear it wasn’t amicable which was yet again confirmed in a recent interview with Sparks on the radio with 105.1’s The Breakfast Club on Thursday (Jan. 15).
“I haven’t spoken to him since everything went down. He helped me with my bag to the car, he kissed me, he told me he loved me…then didn’t call! I’m like ‘We need to talk about this and move past it.’ He wasn’t responding and I was like, ‘Okay,’ so then, I just stopped and I was like, ‘You need to come get your s–t.’ So he got all of his stuff out of my house.”
Although she said she “can laugh about it now” she also mentioned to the hosts that she returned the BMW he gave to her only to be told at the dealership that it wasn’t even bought, just leased.
Apparently those comments offended DeRulo who responded to the accusations on his Instagram account where he posted a photo of the vehicle’s bill of sale along with the caption, “Women Lie, Men Lie, Numbers Don’t Lie! #WhyLease #BreakfastClub @cthagod @djenvy @angelayee @jordinsparks.”
Even though Sparks still comes off as bitter after DeRulo broke up with her over the telephone she did say, “He’s a great guy. Like, I Don’t wish him any harm. He did some stupid s–t, but I can’t hold that against him.”
