Iggy Azalea has been making headlines more and more for her social media feuds recently but it seems that is one less problem she is going to have after announcing she is taking a break from social media.

On Wednesday February 18 some pictures of the 24-year old Australian rapper in her bikini while on vacation with her L.A. Lakers player  boyrfriendNick Young in Hawaii  made their rounds on the internet and while initially most comments were complimentary – talking about her tiny waist and impressive cleavage – it didn’t take long for the insults to come rolling in, mostly pointing out the cellulite around her behind.

After returning from her trip, Azalea took to her Twitter account to voice her disappointment and hurt in a series of final tweets from the star herself.

“Just got back from a great vacation, came online and saw apparently it’s shocking and unheard of to be a woman and have cellulite. Lol,” she began.

“I just want to have peace and relaxation time without a perve with long distance lense hiding out taking pictures, everyone deserves peace. I feel the hatred and pettiness i see online at all times is at making me become an angry person and I cannot be that.”

She went on to explain just how much the anonymous comments affect her, “To become nasty because of the way I feel iam treated would be a disservice to my fans and I promise i will try to keep smiling. But I also want to let my fans know iam taking some time away from social media. I need to be happy and it is too negative and draining.”

Azalea explained her account will still be active but will be run by her management team instead unless a message is signed with an ‘IA’ indicating it is straight from Iggy, and concluded her tweets with a final anger fueled tweet, “The Internet is the ugliest reflection of man kind there is.”
