Caitlyn Jenner is taking on the world in full force this week after introducing herself officially on Monday, June 1 in a Vanity Fair photoshoot and a 22 page in-depth article hitting stands on June 9th.
As her family, and the world react to Caitlyn, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, she is also getting ready to tell her story in a personal docu-series about the transition which we now know is titled I Am Cait which will be premiering on Sunday, July 26 on the E! network.
Until then however the first promo has been released for the series which shows Caitlyn getting ready in her Malibu home with her voice over stating, “So many people go through life and they’ve never had to deal with their own issues – no matter what those issues are. Ours happen to be about gender identity, but how many people go through life and waste an entire life because they never deal with themselves? To be who they are?”
In the clip Jenner also reflects on adjusting to life as a woman, “You start learning, kinda the pressure that women are under all the time about their appearance,” before being shown officially leaving her property for the first time as a woman.
“Isn’t it great that, maybe someday, [I’ll] be normal and blend into society,” and as the person with Jenner tells her she is normal, she responds, “Put it this way: I’m the new normal.”
