The film adaptation of the hit erotic novels, Fifty Shades of Grey, is hyping up huge anticipation from fans of the series.

With drama around casting decisions starting with Sons of Anarchy’s Charlie Hunnam dropping out, Jamie Dornan stepped in as the sexy, yet scary and controlling Christian Grey.

The film released its first theatrical trailer Thursday November 13, after releasing a teaser trailer in the summer and much more of Dornan as Grey can be seen in this intense and thrilling trailer.

It premiered Thursday (Nov 13) during Scandal in a well placed slot, tuning into the show’s female audience who are well accustomed to the sexy scenes portrayed throughout the show.

While many are wondering how Fifty Shades is going to translate on to the big-screen without being a full on adult film, the trailer gives more insight into the (fully-clothed) relationship between Anastasia Steele played by Dakota Johnson and Christian Grey as well as glimpses of the intense and steamy relationship that follows, including Grey revealing the “Red Room of Pain” to Ana.

The two minute and thirty second clip also reveals more of Grey’s backstory, giving a glimpse of his very fit but scarred chest from his toubled past.

While there will be lots of sex and nudity which is expected, Dornan did say that you will not be seeing all he has to offer, “There were contracts in place that said that viewers wouldn’t be seeing my, um…my todger. You want to appeal to as wide an audience as possible without grossing them out,” he stated in an interview.

The long awaited film is set for a Valentine’s Day release in 2015.
