Diem Brown has been hospitalized for cancer treatment.
The MTV Real World/Road Rules Challenge reality star, 32, was taken to a New York hospital as she continues to fight cancer.
Diagnosed with ovarian cancer at only 23 years old, Diem has been open about her battle against the disease. She was diagnosed with cancer again in 2012, and this past October she learned the devastating news that the cancer that had been found in her stomach and colon earlier this year had spread to her liver and lymph nodes.
She’s surrounded by loving friends and family members. A close friend, Alicia, posted a hospital photo of Diem to Instagram with the caption, “Toasting the strongest girl we know: #diemstrong #friendsarefamily”.
Diem tweeted about her condition: “Need prayers, advice, support & outreach. No is not an option. Contact @alicialquarles We know there is hope & help”
“It’s important to me to share the ‘realness’ of my journey,” Diem wrote on her People magazine blog back in September. “It’s okay to admit that at times it’s hard, that it can be tough.”
Back in 2012, she wrote, “I beat Cancer once & I’m gonna do it again! I know God has a reason for every speed bump in life & I’m ready.”
