It’s all coming down to the final dances now.
After a super competitive Season 21 of Dancing With the Stars the first part of the two-night finale took place on Monday, Nov. 23, and it was very emotional. The remaining stars included Alek Skarlatos, Nick Carter, Bindi Irwin and Carlos PenaVega, but only three could make it to tonight’s finale.
They started off with “The Judges Choice” dances resulting in Carlos and Witney Carson dominating their Foxtrot, earning a perfect score, meanwhile Alek and Lindsay Arnold performed a rumba which also got them a respectable 27 out of 30, and Nick and Sharna Burgess came from behind last week to also earn a perfect score with their jive. Of course, Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough also earned a perfect score, nailing a complicated quickstep routine, even while Derek was sick.
They then moved on to the Freestyle where, without a doubt, Irwin and Hough stole the show with an incredibly moving performance honoring Bindi’s late father Steve Irwin, which left everyone in tears and the dancers with another perfect score. Although everyone danced their hearts out, only three could continue, meaning it was Carlos PenaVega and Witney Carson sent packing right before the final show.
The Dancing With the Stars Season 21 finale airs Tuesday, Nov. 23 on ABC.
