There is definitely something in the water in Hollywood. Another day, another celebrity baby announcement.
Today, Cobie Smulders, 32, announced she is expecting her second child with husband Taran Killam, 32.
The How I Met Your Mother star and Saturday Night Live comedian dated for several years and welcomed their first child in May of 2009, a daughter Shaelyn Cado Killam. After the birth of her first child during her HIMYM days she joked, “I think I sleep an average of four hours a night now, and so it’s just functioning on fumes sometimes.”
Earlier in 2009, the two became engaged and were married in 2012 in California surrounded by many celebrity friends.
Now, after celebrating their second anniversary, they will be preparing for their second child.
Since the finale of How I Met Your Mother, Cobie’s career has taken off with her role as Agent Maria Hill.
She has played the agent in The Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier as well as guest starring on the TV show Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as well as the upcoming sequel to The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron which is scheduled for release in spring of 2015.
