Actress Cate Blanchett, 45, made headlines recently when she reportedly “lost it” on an interviewer who was asking her “silly” questions with many outlets reporting she shut down the interview after asking him, “That’s your f–king question?”

The story instantly went viral as everyone loves to see a beloved actor or actress actually lose their cool with their media, but as it turns out, those stories were made only after seeing the end of the interview.

Blanchett was doing a routine sit-down interview for her new film, Disney’s live-action Cinderella, when the interviewer, Jonathan Hyla, pressed her buttons by asking a silly question about how she kept the cat on a leash. “OK, serious question: How were you able to get that cat to do what you wanted to on a leash? I tried putting my girlfriend’s cat on a leash and it just never works for me,” Hyla asked the star.

That is when Blanchett shuts down the interview -but that isn’t really what happened.

Hyla however took to his Twitter account to share the full uncut version of the interview, where it is very clear both Blanchett and Hyla are having fun poking fun at each other. “For those misrepresenting my #CateBlanchett interview, here it is uncut #IStillNeedKnowHowTheyGotThatCatOnALeash,” he wrote along with the video.

He also reaffirmed that the interview was not in any way awkward, and Blanchett was not seriously angry with him on his Instagram account writing, “Thanks to my new favorite person Cate Blanchett for what might have been the best worst interview I’ve ever done. #WhyDoTheyLetMeInterviewOscarWinners #Vodka #Sex #Cinderella @TheProjectTV.
