Scottish actor Richard Madden, 29, may be used to the feuding world of Game of Thrones, but he may not have realized what he was in for in real life Hollywood after he commented on British model Cara Delevingne’s awkward interview to promote her movie Paper Towns that went viral back in July.

Madden, who is best known as GOT‘s Robb Stark, was asked what he thought about Delevingne’s interview in which some say her humor was taken the wrong way and others say she was being rude and bratty, the latter of which seems to be the side Madden took.

“It was unprofessional. It made her seem ungrateful. She showed her age. For Cinderella, I did six weeks of those interviews, where you get asked the same eight questions.” He then suggested if she can’t handle what comes along with being an actor than maybe she should quit the business: “If you’re not capable of doing that gracefully, then don’t do it.”

After Madden’s comments made headlines, Delevingne, 23, is firing right back at him, taking to her Twitter to write: “@_richardmadden I have no idea who you are but I think it’s a little desperate for a grown man to be bad mouthing someone they don’t know. If you really want attention that badly, try focusing on your own work and not other people’s.” Obviously not wanting to make the feud bigger, Madden quickly apologized, writing, “Hi @Caradelevingne, nothing but respect for you. Misquoted and blown out of proportion #SlowNewsWeek.”
