Fame10 Fashion Evolution: Emma Stone

Emma Stone is one of those actresses who everyone is captivated by. She is talented, fashionable and beautiful. Emma is the epitome of perfection; however, she never lets any of it go to her head. She is definitely one of the most down-to-earth, young actresses in the industry right now. When she isn’t wowing us in movies, she’s taking our breath away with her excellent sense of style on the red carpet. Even though she hasn’t been on the scene for very long, she has managed to establish herself as a budding fashion icon. Come check out Emma Stone’s fashion evolution!

Fox All-Star Winter TCA Party – 2007

Emma Stone looked fun and flirty at the Fox All-Star Winter TCA Party in this black, strapless, knee-length dress with beige details and beige peep-toe shoes. The naturally blonde star made her film debut this same year. She had a role in “Superbad,” alongside Michael Cera and Jonah Hill as Jules, the love interest of Hill’s character. Before this, Stone was primarily working in television. She had roles in “In Search of the New Partridge Family,” “The New Partridge Family” and “Drive.”

MTV Movie Awards – 2008

The “Easy A” star looked radiant at the 2008 MTV Movie Awards wearing this strapless, multicolored Blumarine dress with navy heels and an orange clutch. The color of the clutch doesn’t exactly compliment the outfit, but we think she makes it work. In 2008, Stone’s career was moments away from really taking off. She had finally broken into film but, for a couple of years there, she was stuck playing minor supporting parts.

Ghosts of Girlfriends Past – 2009

Emma Stone rocked a little black cocktail dress with a cute Miu Miu satin bow necklace and some sexy strappy sandals at the “Ghosts of Girlfriends Past” premiere. In the movie, which is a takeoff of “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens, she starred alongside Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Garner and Michael Douglas. Stone’s character Allison Vandermeersh haunts Matthew McConaughey’s character Conor Mead, who is a complete womanizer and doesn’t believe in love.

Premiere Easy A – 2010

The “Superbad” actress looked amazing in this sequined Emilio Pucci Fall 2010 mini dress with a low cut back that she wore to the premiere of “Easy A,” a film that was partly inspired by Nathaniel Hawthorne’s “The Scarlet Letter.” Stone starred in the movie as Olivia Penderghast, a high school student whose reputation is tarnished when rumors circulate that she is promiscuous. The young actress was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy for her role.

Her fabulous dress featured a lace sleeveless overlay with a fringe hemline and a yellow and grey bustier underneath. In 2011, Stone’s career was really taking off. She had roles in a number of high profile movies including “Friends with Benefits,” “Crazy, Stupid, Love” and “The Help.”

The Help Premiere – 2011

The “Friends with Benefits” actress looked gorgeous in this white Luca Luca Spring/Summer 2012 gown with black polka dot embellishments, Brian Atwood “Teresa” ankle strap pumps and a black belt. The only slight problem that we have with this look is the sleeves and the shoulders. They don’t look like they are sitting right. However, other than that, another great look. Not only is Stone a great actress, but she is also proving herself to be a budding style icon!

Vanity Fair Oscar Party – 2012

Emma Stone proved once again that she is a force to be reckoned with on the red carpet. She donned this black chiffon Chanel Fall 2011 Couture dress at the 2012 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. The dress was elegant, but slightly flirty, as it flares out at the waist and becomes partially sheer around the legs. Stone, who had previously been dating Kiernan Culkin, was involved in a relationship with Andrew Garfield, her co-star from “The Amazing Spider-Man,” at this point.

Kids’ Choice Awards – 2012

“The Help” star showed up at the Kid’s Choice Awards wearing this beautiful blush pink Antonio Berardi dress with Alejandro Ingelmo shoes, a Fendi bag and Irene Neuwirth jewels. On the carpet, she met up with her equally cute boyfriend Andrew Garfield. Their movie “The Amazing Spider-Man,” which received mostly positive reviews, was set to open during the summer of 2012. Stone’s fashion sense was impeccable and her career was on fire!

Gangster Squad Premiere – 2013

Emma Stone looked red hot at the “Gangster Squad” premiere. She wore a red woven silk and brocade strapless Lavin dress with a sweetheart neckline and she accessorized with a red “Babylon” crystal necklace, a red clutch and red Christian Louboutin “Batignolles” heels. While Stone looked great at the premiere, the film itself didn’t fare so well with critics. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the up-and-coming actress didn’t have much chemistry with Gosling.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Premiere – 2014

The Golden Globe nominated actress went for a more conservative look at “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” premiere. She wore a gold-fringed sleeveless multi-colored top with raw-edge organza layers, styled with a floaty mauve skirt from the Chanel Pre-Fall 2014 collection. Stone accessorized with metallic-gold Christian Louboutin peep-toe heels. This isn’t our favorite dress – or hairstyle. We much prefer her in something a little more flirty and less matronly.
