Australian pop star KYLIE MINOGUE has ended weeks of speculation about her future on the U.K. version of THE VOICE by announcing that she has quit the show after just one series.
The Can’t Get You Out Of My Head singer became on a judge on the reality TV show for the first time this year (14) and had remained tight-lipped about her plans to return for another series amid speculation about the future of the talent contest.
However, on Friday (11Apr14), Minogue finally confirmed her departure on Twitter.com, blaming a clash between filming the show and her upcoming Kiss Me Once tour, which kicks off in Liverpool, England in September (14).
She writes, “Lovers, due to timing of my tour I won’t be back next season for The Voice UK. Thanks to all who supported! Hope to see you on my KMO (Kiss Me Once) tour!”
