(LONDON) — Chris Martin has sat down for an interview for the first time since his March split from Gwyneth Paltrow.

Martin sat down with BBC’s Zane Lowe to talk about music and life. A teaser of the full interview — to air Monday — was released on Friday.
“Everyone in their life goes through challenges, whether it’s love or money or kids or illness,” Martin tells Lowe, not necessarily about the split.
In another cut of the video, he adds, “There have been a lot of false headlines recently but this would be a real one.”
Martin doesn’t mention Paltrow or the split specifically in the teaser.
The actress, 41, and the Coldplay frontman, 37, announced on her Goop blog on March 25 that they had split after more than a decade of marriage.
