On Wednesday, December 13, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson became the 2,624th celebrity to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and while everyone was there for the charming actor, it was his young daughter who stole the show.
Johnson was accompanied by his longtime girlfriend Lauren Hashian (who is currently pregnant with the couple’s second daughter) and their 2-year-old daughter Jasmine. While the 45-year-old is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars on the planet, he rarely makes public family outings, and the crowd couldn’t get enough of the absolutely adorable family.
The Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle actor took some time to reflect on both his incredible personal and professional success, admitting that all too often one suffers for the other, but he has finally found the perfect balance. “It can all work together at the same time seamlessly in terms of your work and your career and your family. One doesn’t have to be sacrificed for the other,” John stated. He added, “So many fall into that pitfall. I fell into the pitfall.”
While all eyes were on Jasmine, Johnson also spoke about his eldest daughter, 16-year-old Simone whom he shares with his ex-wife Dany Garcia, and who will be serving as the 2018 Golden Globe Ambassador. “We have such a high-quality relationship…she continues to teach me,” Johnson gushed about his daughter, “I am incredibly proud of her.”
