Oh, that Meredith Vieira. Give her a talk show of her own, and she thinks she rules the world. No, no. We kid. We jest. Meredith is just dishing out more awesome.
At a recent visit to Watch What Happens Live, Meredith jumped into the ring of fire, and answered some rapid fire questions about her former co-workers at The Today Show. Nobody was off-limits–not Matt Lauer, not Hoda and Kathy Lee. Everyone got their fair share of ribbing from Meredith.

These days, everything is coming up Meredith. She is a classic example of a great host, who possesses great interview skills and a great sense of humor. She might even have a slight edge on Ellen in terms of digging into the subject matter that is serious–Ellen is pure comedian. A joke is always looming. Still, NBC/Universal and Warner Brothers Television want you to know that there is room for both ladies in your life.
Meredith has enjoyed stellar reviews of her new show, and it could possibly fill a void of the long-lost, “I’m only doing my OWN thing” Oprah Winfrey. According to Meredith, The Meredith Vieira Show is geared toward comfort: comfort for the audience, comfort for the guests offering their time and/or talent. And sure, it’s a week in, so it’s a bit too early to tell if she’ll still be sailing in another five years, but she’s off to a strong start.
