After last week’s emotional roller coaster surrounding Hilary’s death, Devon and the rest of Genoa City gear up to say their final farewells to this pivotal Young and the Restless (Y&R) character. After seeing the love of his life pass away last week, Devon struggles with the loss of Hilary. In other Y&R spoiler news, Phyllis turns to Jack and opens up. Perhaps there is a Jack/Red reunion on the horizon now that her relationship with Billy has crumbled. Lastly, Mariah gets a surprise visit from someone, and actor Jordi Vilasuso debuts on the Y&R as Rey, a mysterious stranger.

As the aftermath of Hilary’s death hits Genoa City, Y&R spoilers indicate that Cane will work to protect his wife Lily. Could it be possible that her involvement in the accident that caused Hilary’s death is already bubbling up? Sounds like it may be. Meanwhile, Summer makes attempts to charm Kyle, and Arturo tries to dodge questions from Abby about his past.

Wednesday, August 1

Humpday will provide plenty of drama for Y&R fans as tension begins to surface between Jack and Billy. Will it be caused by Jabot issues or Phyllis? Either way, these ‘brothers’ clearly still have problems between them. Moving on, Wednesday spoilers also indicate that Devon will have his entire world flip upside down, and Phyllis will work hard to ensure an important message is sent.

Y&R spoilers indicate that Neil will be busy trying to play peacemaker come Thursday, and here’s hoping things don’t get too heated between Devon and Lily, as previews for next week indicate that the siblings will get into a spat where Devon insinuates that Lily may have caused the car accident on purpose. In other Y&R spoilers, Victor will surprise Nikki and Victoria and Nick will bury the hatchet.

Friday, August 3

To round off the week in Genoa City, Nick will face temptation on Friday, while Devon will lay down an ultimatum. Meanwhile, The Moustache better watch out. Chief of police Paul Williams will have his eye on Victor as he will suspect him of something. Victor is always generally up to no good, and Paul has always been great at keeping him in line. Only time will tell.
