Actress Zooey Deschanel has opened up about life with her boyfriend, HGTV star Jonathan Scott!
Deschanel was interviewed by reporters at the 2022 Baby2Baby Gala on Saturday. The New Girl actress was asked about her experience co-parenting with Scott and she gushed that he is “an amazing stepdad.”
Scott also chimed in and shared his experience being a stepdad. “I’m a magician, or I’m a clown, I could build stuff,” Scott added jokingly. Deschanel has two kids, son Charlie Wolf, 5, and daughter Elsie Otter, 7, whom she shares with ex-husband Jacob Pechenik.
“He’s really very highly qualified for the job,” Deschanel told reporters, to which Scott also added, “pretty good, yeah.”
Deschanel and Scott began dating in 2020 after meeting while appearing together on Carpool Karaoke alongside their siblings, Emily Deschanel and Drew Scott. The couple celebrated their third anniversary this past August.
