Condolences are pouring in for The Young and the Restless (Y&R) star Mishael Morgan and her husband, Navid Ali, after news broke that members of their family had perished in a house fire in Brampton, Ontario, Canada.

“On Monday morning my husband’s only brother perished with his wife and three kids in a tragic house fire,” Morgan shared on Instagram. “I am still in absolute disbelief.”

Nazir Ali, Raven Alisha Ali O’Dea and their three children were pronounced deceased as a result of the blaze. Raven’s father told Global News that the house had recently been renovated, and no smoke alarms were functional at the time of the fire.

“I literally have no words right now,” Morgan continued. “My sister-in-law has set up a GoFundMe. Please pray for my family and donate if you are able.”

As of press time, the GoFundMe page has collected $70,338 dollars that will be put toward funeral costs. Given the steep price of funeral services in Canada, the family is hoping to reach a goal of $150,000.

“Please hold your loved ones tight,” Morgan, who is no stranger to resilience, urged her fans. “Appreciate every moment and remember another day is never guaranteed.”

Among the voices of support were countless daytime drama stars, including Y&R cast-mates Melissa Ordway, Courtney Hope and Melissa Claire Egan.

“Rest in Paradise Nazir, Raven, Alia, Jayden and Layla,” Morgan signed off. “Spread your wings, beautiful angels.”
