Young And The Restless (Y&R) alum Jason Canela, who played Arturo Rosales on the soap, is engaged to Brazilian model Janaina Reis.
Canela announced his good news on Instagram yesterday when he posted a photo of himself proposing to Reis on bended knee.
“I truly believe we can make each other as happy as we made this kind individual the moment I proposed to you for the rest of our lives 😍🤪💯 @janaarc ❤️,” he captioned the post. “I look forward to loving you, to exploring life with you, to exploring you & to being your rock when you need rocking woman LOL seriously though, I love you with all my MIND, BODY & SOUL. I could not have chosen a better partner to do life with ❤️ #SheSaidYes well, technically she said let me think about it 👀 but I’m pretty sure she was joking lmao… I hope she was joking hahah ha @janaarc were you joking ?”
Reis was happy to confirm her answer to her new fiancé. “I love you and YES YES YES a million times!!!!!!” she responded.
Canela’s former Y&R castmates sent him their congratulations.
“Omg!!!! YES! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️” Sasha Calle, who plays Lola Rosales, Arturo’s sister on the Y&R, commented.
Hunter King, who plays Summer Newman, also passed along her best wishes, as did Melissa Ordway, who plays Abby Newman, Tracey E. Bregman, who plays Lauren Fenmore and Noemi Gonzalez, who played Mia Rosales on the sudser.
Canela portrayed Arturo on the Y&R from 2018 to 2019. Previously, he appeared on a number of primetime series including Pitch, Falling Angel and The Glades. He was also in the films Always Be My Maybe and Single In South Beach.
